Yep. I have a 23x24ft garage. Dunno how I'm supposed to fit a small boat and my truck in there while still having room to walk around it. Houses should come with 40x40ft garages as standard.

Of course, I park in the driveway now because the garage is for projects. I've decided I need a 60x80ft detached shop with lean-to covered storage on the side and a triple car garage attached to the house.

What do you put in a 20x20? A tablesaw and a smart car?

Next house I move to is going to have a double garage attached to or near the house and a shop big enough for my truck, travel trailer, lawn tractor and toys plus space for projects. Maybe my dad's boat too.

Having to drive through downtown Ottawa to get to Quebec (and visa versa) and having a homeless person(s) asking for money at every stoplight.
Been talking about an interprovincial Hwy to bypass downtown for over 40 yrs.

it's now a feminine, green energy, high estrogen, loony rag.

I've cancelled about all my mag subscriptions (not because of hemorrhoids) because they all went soy-boy.

even the gun rags are all about women dressed up as men or men dress up as tacti-dudes. or how to hang all kinds of stupid shit off your AR.

I'm down to just the NRA magazine (american rifleman)now. and life is good.

Tundra outside front tire wear, having to need an alignment every 5,000 miles and a set of tires only lasting about 30,000 miles and the cost of new tires. This annoys me the most about my Tundra.

the outside edge of my front tires always go early on every one of my tundras.

    what annoys me,.....
what broke in your brain that causes you to cruise in the passing lane at 60, and when you see someone coming up behind you at 75,....
you get over to the right and bring your speed up to 75?
and it's not any one demographic.
it's all of you! it's 75-80% of anyone reading this.
    what's your fukn malfunction?

I didn’t know this was a thing. Had an alignment last fall, and wore through the winter tires (front - out edge) before spring. The summer tires and winter tires that came with the truck wore even before I had the alignment.

Haha! Thought this only happened to me. Worse is folks who start to speed up in the right lane just after I move to the left to pass them. Happens about 60% of the time.

Or this…was behind a guy in a busted ass S-10 with a sticker that said “0-60 Eventually” on the tailgate. We come off the ramp onto the interstate and he immediately goes to the open left lane instead of the open right lane. Unfreakinbelievable!

Wife insisted we get a new recliner for me. The one I had was not comfortable and was worn pretty bad. Two visits to the store trying new chairs on, found one that felt great at the show room. Got it delivered today and it feels like shit now. WTF.

Haha! Similar story. I wanted a new chair/recliner. My wife finds one. It’s super comfortable at store. Arrives 2 months later. It’s so comfortable it becomes “her” chair.

Literally the story of my life all day at work.
Not just cars, semis do it too, although handicap placard cars are the worst.

Some of the semis are contracted not to go over a certain speed limit, say 65 MPH.
But when a UPS semi (me) changes lanes to pass them, they speed up just long enough to show me they have a faster tractor.
Then after leaving me hanging out to dry in the left lane for a while (I never give in), they back out of it and I pass them.
I really don't care how fast your tractor goes, just stay out of my fuckin' way.

So if you are wondering why it's taking so long for one semi to pass another, the one being passed is an asshole.
I'll cut the cruise and let another driver in front of me when I'm being passed.

    Yep.

    Speed Up or Slow Down,
Just Get Out of the Way!

Another that annoys me... Interstate driving, when going into the left lane and cutting into a line of cars to make a pass, hit the fuckin' gas and run what the lane is running! I hate those assholes who will cut into a line that's running 80+ to make a pass at (or usually slightly below) the posted speed limit. It just backs things up for everyone. Make the pass quickly and get back in the right lane to resume speed limit (or less) cruising.

I cut semis and trucks pulling trailers slack in this regard. But anything not towing needs to move their ass when in the left lane.

I always wondered that, but still wonder sometimes. Years back, I commuted between working in Toronto and living in Ottawa. On one particular night driving home to Ottawa on the 401, I caught up to two semis. It was late at night around midnight, with no one else around. These two MF’ers were locked side by side for 15 mins. No amount of honking or hi-beam flashing was having any effect. So, finally, I passed them on the right gravel shoulder, standing through my sunroof giving them the middle finger. You wonder why folks pull out guns…

I can somewhat understand why some people start to pass only to just die out in the left lane. Some use their sight or their ears or their right foot to judge speed. Not having a clue if you look at the speedo you can get a pretty good idea. Those that use muscle memory in their foot hit a wall of air once they take the lead and are too stoopid to realize they may need to push that pedal just a wee bit more now that they are in the lead. Morons.

I wish I had a Doctorate in psychology so I could understand why it is that so many people see the need to pass you then slow down. Are they purposely being pricks? Gawd, I hope not.

What I don’t get is why a good percentage of folks don’t use cruise on the Hwy. Around here I would say half don’t. So, you often pass someone 3-4 times as they slow down, you pass, then a few minutes later they pass only to eventually slow down. Drives me nuts, especially since we have a few spots with large hills. You pass them going up the hill only to be passed once they get to the top.

Whatever this forum told me to do
    This.

I'm an addict to radar cruise control.

if everyone used it, civilization, as a whole, would improve exponentially.

and. many moons ago, I committed to myself to NEVER make up time on the hwy. just hang in the slow lane and set cruise.

I have too many responsibilities to risk all that on excessive speed on the hwy.

I have 30 minute commutes to work and it's mostly interstate. I don't bother with cc in that scenario because there's a lot of snaking through the stupid to get from A-B. I use throttle control and have no issue maintaining speed. I use cc on road trips and long stretches of driving.
people are too worried about their phones and infotainment systems to pay attention to their vehicle, surroundings and just the basic concept that they are in a several 1000 lb machine at highway speeds.
everyone's worried about being woke to social topics, but very few people seem woke to basic reality. everyone is in their own head, self centered and oblivious to their surroundings and the consequences of simple physics.
