What kind of a brush cutter head to you run? If I get lazy and let my weeds grow, the string itself struggles to cut

Good point, I have Dewalt everything for power tools.
    4 batteries including a couple 5-Ah.
I may give them a shot first.

It was painful to buy the Kobalt mister, but that thing is bad ass on the back porch..
We have to set it 15 feet away on low speed or we get soaked..

Thank you to all who commented...

Wife was drying some clothes last night when the dryer shit the bed, told her its probably like 10 years old, what are you going to do. Heating up my coffee this morning when the microwave starts sparking and gives up the ghost also, OK, this is bloody war. $900.00 later I'm trying not to touch anything important around my house because we all know Bad Juju shit comes in threes. :rain:

I have an older Husqvarna trimmer. It has had a good run, so I decided to try electric. I have a bunch of DeWalt stuff, so I picked up their 60v trimmer. I have a LOT of trimming on my property. It takes me 2 full batteries. It’s nice not smelling like trimmer exhaust. I added the Echo speed feed 400 head. No complaints.
I also have the 24” Ranch hand from Husqvarna. Awesome chainsaw. That and the Hustler Raptor are the extent of my gas-powered yard tools at this point.

Brother we've had a mess of shit like that lately.
Seems like just when we get ahead, we get another kick in the balls.

I keep telling my wife we've been very blessed over the years when shit gets tough.
She just rolls her eyes at me.

At least we aren't as fucked up as the rest of our families...

Allegedly I'm on your ignore list, but thanks for posting this.
I googled can a 60V Dewalt battery be charged in a 20V charger and the answer was yes being I have a compatible charger.

I'm now looking at 60V Dewalt stuff.
    Thank you again..

We're in desperate need of a new washing machine and dishwasher. Now you're making me wonder what's next.

Your body processes the minerals. People living in bubbles afraid of water are why everyone and their kids have a billion allergies. We screwed our selves.

I feel you brother. The only good thing I can say is at least there are appliances available. Our dishwasher croaked right in the middle of Covid and couldn't find one for like 8 Months. Washing dishes by hand really sucks, we're so spoiled aren't we? :anonymous:

    My bad.

I have a friend who says I'm "a literal bastard" and I tell him "no, my parents were married." Then he gets more angry and walks away.

If you really want to make a point, next time you're at the grocery store, wal-mart, etc. and standing at the check out line together w/a cart full of crap do this...

You: "Honey, wait here I'll be right back". Take off a go grab a pack of adult diapers... When you get back say (loud enough for others to hear), "Here, I thought you could use these; seems like you've been leaving skid marks on the passenger seat of my truck" :crapstorm:

If you have dewalt batteries, try theirs. I have the Milwaukee M18 with the trimmer attachment and it’s fantastic. I had a Black and Decker before for years and it was fine, but I wanted a better one with more options.

Damp rag over it, don’t smear it- soak it up. Could use some of this with a bristle brush, or use a steam cleaner as someone else had mentioned. Do NOT leave it over it or you will burn through it. Either one should get it done. All purpose cleaner may also get it out (could also use on headliner if something were to get there).

Seems like I'm late here but id go electric with your application. And yes stick to the brand you already have batteries for. I'm in the e-go yard tools trap already and also have zero regrets. Even have the mower and love it. So nice and quiet.

Seems like this is a more common occurrence these days. Hate to sound like that old guy but they just don't make shit to last anymore. This past winter I replaced a 5 year old washing machine, repaired a 2 year old fridge, and also had to repair a 5 year old oven. Then this spring my well pressure tank had to be replaced as well as my tankless water heater. Those were a bit older but holy smokes I've been on a run...

Whatever this forum told me to do
    i have both

I use all gas in Houston (Honda & Echo)

I use battery at the lake. (Ryobi 40v)

battery is better if you have a smaller area.

    @Azblue, @NWPirate, @Blue Thunder,
is there a thread dedicated to TTs/campers?
if so, is it full of weirdos?
should I just ask questions in this thread?
    I'm definitely not a weirdo.
