Also, the ass sinking- that's what happens when you have a 2wd on street tires and are too lazy to lower them from 45psi travel trailer towing and somebody slows down in front of you killing momentum. But nailing the skinny pedal to the floor took care of it.

I mulched the main front bed of my yard today, at the better 3/4's request. I had to use the bagged stuff, thanks Leer 100R camper shell.

It said nothing on the bag of manure, but it clearly is somehow mixed with manure. I now cannot sit on my porch to enjoy a finally-not-outlandishly-hot evening because my porch area smells like cowshit.

This is basically exactly why I wanted a quick way to pop my camper off and on. I’m going to leave it off for a while and enjoy the truck for a bit.

Fyi if the little plastic puck that the brake pedal uses to depress the brakelight switch breaks, a nickle is the right thickness.

anyone know what toyota calls that little plastic piece.

If you need some in the future and want to make a drive, I have a fat stack of mulch from a tree that I had cut down. It's just sitting in my back yard. Free of charge and shit free lmao.

The better 3/4 specifically wanted dark brown hardwood mix so it blends in with the old mulch. I personally would prefer to change to normal-colored/non-dyed mulch, but that's another story entirely.

Note there is an inexpensive upgrade for this that may make your life easier/better. Skip to the 7m08s point if it doesn't auto-jump. I wish they had this for the ilx 650/670.

A few of the guys have ran those knobs and had connectivity issues. We have steering wheel controls, so I figure we will be using those more than we used to

I would think you’d be able to get access to the transmission with the engine still in the frame? Any time i buy a different KTM 950 or 990 (the past four of them) the first thing i do is remove the clutch side engine cover and update a few internal components, readjust the shifter linkage, and replace any items that have any sort of wear.

My riding buddy is a mechanical engineer. He's the one helping me do the engine work. I asked and he said the engine needed to come out since we're splitting the case. Not sure if he's right or wrong but I assume it will be easier with it out.

I'm just hoping I remember how to put it all back together. There were way more electrical connectors than I expected.

Best thing to do in that case is tape-flag with either blue or green painters tape, each connector as you take them off. If there's a ton, number them and reattach in order so you're less likely to forget one. I've been doing it this way for eons.

Good idea but too late now. Some are unique shape at least. I'll figure it out. First we need to see what's damaged internally.

German engineering at its finest (Panamera, IIRC). And people complain about the 2UZ starter location.

if you've got a reciever hitch, wait until you go to swap out leaf springs. Took em like 4 years to figure that out.

That is cool as shit. Its about time aftermarket radio makers start making cool shit. They still need to hire people to design their interfaces cuz they all still look like dog shit for the most part. I been looking at a Pioneer 9" floating screen but half the reviews say its the greatest thing since sliced bread, and the other half, says its a laggy piece of shite. No se.
