I know, it gets a bad rep being a minivan and all that, but this one actually looks pretty nice, love the wheels and the whole setup. My CFO/wife wanted a Sienna but needs to be at least SUV height clearance, sounds like 6in lift or long travel? LOL
But yea, I also love the sliding door, kids are almost doing swat-style exits nowadays....
Sat in one when wife was car shopping and she drove it, the internal space is unbelievably huge, even compared to CM Tundra.... (I mean, forget the cargo space area, just the 2nd row space is so nice.... I can see why families would have this, it just makes sense.

    Lol.

I commented that I like the looks of the Sienna to my wife. I told her I could drive one.

She said " have fun driving". "It's not gonna be parked in my garage".

I guess shes not a mini van fan.

Haha.... yea, wife end up choosing a compact SUV, against the better decision of our discussion.....
I get it, minivan ain't exactly small or easy to park in some parking garages and all that, but I was thinking more long term, longer trips and stuff.
Made the bad mistake when I got my Tundra, they only had RWD available and I needed a new vehicle so I took it.
Most of the year, I should be fine with the Tundra, but winter months, especially where snow/sleet/black ice is more common than bears, I am not gonna trust the Tundra against my better judgement of my family's safety.
Guess we will be renting for long trips in the future, unless I can find a well maintained last gen Seq to add to the fleet, or a Sienna, but needs to be hybrid.

they are super nice guys, we scored one of the 2023 AWD 25th Anniversary model, we get tons of compliments on it.

35 mpg city with AWD as well which is amazing, plus 1500 watt inverter

That's a real nice vehicle.....The only thing I don't like is the multi-media screen, but those seems to be standard in the trims I want the other options....

ya, it came with the inverter which was something I wanted, we don't really use it, but hell, just fold it up if you don't need it.

it does come with nice wireless headphones, easy input and an inverter plug right next to it if you do want to use it

It is always better to have than not. But again, it is a people/cargo mover, not luxury airline seating experience, though I guess it could be....

Wife's 2022 Sequoia is the only vehicle I was ever transported in, where I enjoy sitting in the second row more than behind the steering wheel. The seats and leg room are enormous. Third row is spacious, too! The back reclines far enough for it to be comfortable for an adult for a few hours. 10" of ground clearance and 4x4 with lockable transfer case is what Sienna will never have. V8 with 24 gallon tank makes sure mom stops at every gas station for kids to pee.

They are fantastic vehicles, full stop. Don’t listen to the haters. You can get a hybrid AWD version for all the and weather, and haul the whole crew with ease. In addition they get 35mpg which is more than 3 times my average mileage with the tundra.

Wife gets 22 MPG on highway in her V8 Sequoia. I goes easily over unplowed driveway and curb corners, too.

the second row room is WAY more in the Sienna with the super long glides they have in there now

but ya, its not an off-road vehicle with ground clearance and lockers, lol, not sure how we got to that.

toyota is the only one who makes AWD though and the MPG is ridiculously good for such a large vehicle

It's me. My back can't bend. I pretty much stand all day long then sleep on a thin futon mattress over hardwood floor. Spending 8 days driving in a week horrifies me. I take a full CVS Ibuprofen bottle with me.

I'm positive by default. Very happy with life, people and everything. Only talking about something I'm not happy with, ya know?

I've been in Siennas a few times. Would go with Sequoia any day. Actually, wanted wife to buy a Sienna when we figured out there will be a third one, but she almost gave me a divorce.

The only part I really don't like abut Sienna, is the ground clearance. I get it, it is a minivan not SUV, but being in Houston where roads are shit, even SUV are having a hard time getting around, anything less is just asking for trouble and higher repair bill down the road.

    Haha..... I know.
Wife and I are in agreement that if we get a Sienna, it has to be lifted, at least 3 if not 6 inches. And of course, wheels/tires need to match that.

I first read that as "chicken pot pie can sink....." and I was like, what the hell?! Sorry....
I think the original post link is 3 inch? So honestly it looks nice and seem more capable for most adventures, aside from off-road like Moab....

Our family car is an Expedition, but we rented a hybrid Sienna on a trip last year. It was pretty great and if I were in the market for a new car I would seriously consider one.

We have owned 3 Sienna AWDs since my kids were born. Loved every one of them. Probably put a combined 500,000 on the three. Was in a potentially serious accident in one and we walked away without a scratch. Only real negative other than not being "cool" is the back left spark plug will almost make you lose your religion to replace.

I love our ‘21 Sienna XSE. We just had our 55k service done at the dealer and she’s good as new. With 3 kids it’s a perfect vehicle and I must admit I enjoy driving it. Makes me laugh when people argue against the van and how they are not cool. In reality if you are not a cool person, no vehicle will save you. LOL

We'll, add me to the list of Sienna owners. Wife's vehicle is in the shop for the third time in as many weeks so we began searching for Grand Highlanders. Deciding to be responsible, we felt obligated to lol at the Sienna too. I had rented one about a dozen years ago and loved it over my 4runner. Nobody locally has any inventory but we were able to see a sold unit of each and we both immediately pounced on the Sienna.

2025, build starts next week, should be here Nov 14th. Not sure how we were able to find one not yet sold, but it was perfect. Wind-chill Pearl with macadamia interior Platinum AWD with the digital rearview and HUD.

Pretty excited for the Mrs over this one. By far nicest vehicle we've ever purchased.
