Just hauled home a pallet of sod in the back. Made two trips with a half a pallet load each. The truck did great just a little squat.

Over 10K trip through the U.S., Canada & Alaska. Camper is 7k. Hybrid towing is amazing & agree with @BreathingBorla the auto level is sweet.

I kinda wish I had the air suspension. Couldn't get it with the TRD OR. I'll have to look into aftermarket.

That's a nice setup you've got there. I love that Airstream. So it looks like you have the air suspension. Not any squat at all.

Just finished a 2,500 mile trip from Kansas to Lake Powell in Utah. Pulled like a dream. In the picture I’m teaching my daughter to back up the trailer.

Yes, it has the air suspension and it works well to level the truck. However, I spend some time at the CAT scales and dial in my hitch. Air suspension is NOT a fix if your weight distribution hitch is not properly set up IMO.

Hauled our 26’ camp trailer all over the Rocky Mountains. Plenty of dump runs and Home Depot and side jobs. I prefer the ride when it’s loaded down and I believe the truck responds well to load on the power train. Really Impressed with how effortless it is.

Have been towing this for 2 years at elevations ranging from 6500 to 11500 ft on a regular basis. No issues at all and love the factory air suspension.

I've never used a weight distribution hitch yet, but I've seen these used. From what I've heard this makes a world of difference when pulling the big heavy loads.

Moving locally soon, so several loads to the dump and Goodwill so far. But will be hauling a small utility trailer for several trips soon. Downsizing is fun (challenging).

300 + lb plastic shed. Nice to lower the rear suspension onto a cart then moved it onto the patio and tipped it over.
Took four people to push it into the bed.

Those of you towing these 10k lb trailers, what transmission temps are you seeing?

Transmission temp gage stays centered the whole time, I don't get actual values. Could plug in the carista next time I'm in the mountains

Would be good to know. Mine gets hot not even towing, just doing any sort of hill climbing at slower speeds. I’m honestly afraid to tow with it.

    No idea, never even looked.

If I'm going through the mountains, I shift manually to like 5th or 6th gear and run ~3k RPM.

will echo what others are saying and it tows great. Our Pro tows the 221MSL like a dream. It's 26' and fully loaded around 7500lbs. No issues at all.

Although, I did get the trans temps high when we had to do some major back and forth to fit into a spot, in direct sun. Our fault, not the trucks.

Bet that was an awesome trip! I could never get my wife to travel like that. She hates driving.
