No shit, the radio freezing on my Turd F-150 was the reason I walked into a Toyota dealership and bought a truck without even talking to the wife. It took her weeks to calm down and as far as I was concerned that was a better scenario than keeping the truck one more day. Jacked up stereos are not a problem for Turds, it is a feature.

So, because everyone is giving me a hard time about my Ferd, I decided to go check out all the recalls and info to see what applied to my truck.


First up, a possible oil leak due to porosity of the block. Yikes! Oh, wait, my truck isn't in the date range (06/24). Safe!





Next up, a SW glitch might make the AC not work right, but they can update it. Not a huge one to me.





A possible MIL related to fuel pump wiring. Not sure how big an issue it actually would be?





Possible installation of the wrong trailer brake controller on the truck, BUT this notice was out months before my truck was built.





Apparently there are two types of the door keypads and one of them you can lose the code for. Mine has the factory unit and can't be lost.





Possible misalignment of the doors or hood can cause an ajar alarm. No issues yet. Body gaps are actually pretty consistent; way more than they were on my Taco.





Don't fiddle phuk with the mirror switches. Got it.

Alarms due to cold temps! Shit! Wait... only with less than 62 miles on the truck... so that was solved within an hour of buying the truck.

I don't use Spotify but, even if I did, they fixed it! Fairly quick as well. Look at the dates. How long is it between recognition and fix of issues with Toyota again?



I'm trying really hard to connect these to my truck and posting them. Legitimately, though, there aren't many. Ferd does indeed have a LOT of recalls or noticies, but scrolling on NHTSA I was seeing that most of them relate to their hybrids/EVs or in the smaller high compression engine for the Bronco.
