Im fairly certain that a Sequoia axle would be the ideal solution for a disc brake rear. Sequoia axle+additional two calipers for a hydraulic handbrake would be a lot of fun. Or independent handles for each side like the sand car guys do. @khooiii needs that on his fast/longboy build.

I can NOT stress this enough. DO NOT GO SEE THE BOARDERLANDS MOVIE.

If you thought what Disney did to Star wars was bad, holeefuck. The people that made this read nothing, played nothing, know nothing of the series. Casting was all wrong, plot was complete trash, movie makes no sense cause it was probably chopped to shit on the cutting room floor. Actors phoned in their performances at best. And by some miracle they managed to make CLP-Tr-P even more annoying by having the completely idiotic Jack Black voice him. I could go on but just trust me on this if you know anything of the games or comics just don't.

My only saving grace here is is didn't pay to see it. But I can not get that hour and half of my life back.

But they've lost over 100million on it so that makes me a bit happy as well.

Nothing like getting home and it's 91 in your house! Called my landlord and got sent to the "emergency" voice-mail. Still no call back. My cap is all puffy. Does Lowes sell caps? I'll pick one up after the movie were about to go see if they do.

If it’s a dual cap that’s bulging……. Get two instead to spread the load…….
IE; a dual cap rated at 45/5, get a 45 and a 5 separately, I fully trust you to wire it properly!

Looks like Lowes and HD don't carry them locally. All the supply houses are closed. I called my hvac buddy from my old job. @FrenchToasty it's a 55/5 and he said he should have one.

I currently have a small cache of both Jordans and Air Max. I graduated in 1993, which meant that was the golden years for all the super cool Nike shoes that would be rereleased and reissued for the next 35+ years. When i wasn't running track and cross county, you could find me in the gym shooting hoop most of school day. I had the original Jordan 3 (1988), Jordan 4 (1989), Jordan 5 (1990), jordan 6 (1991). I also had the first Air Max 1 (1987), Air Max 90 (#2), Air Max (Big Window), Air Max Light, Air Max 180 (aka air max 3). I also had a host of other cool Nikes back in the day...David Robinson pumps, Air Force 180 (aka the Charls Barkley), Air Flights, ect. I even knew at the time that each and every one of those shoes were special. My first running coach somehow ended up with a SUPER SUPER rare pair of the original prototype unreleased Air Max 1 "Big Bubble". The air pocket was absolutely HUGE compared to the Air Max that nike released. Nike reissued the Air Max the Big Bubble a couple years ago for the very first time. I haven't seen them in person, but the air pocket doesn't look as big as the originals.

Now that i'm older i know how to take better care of them. I think the Air Max 90 might be my all time favorite shoe design whose style has been copied by many other off brands. Fox Racing once released a blatant knock-off of 90...like it was so obvious that i had to take a really close look at it while it was in my hands. I think it lasted maybe a month on the shelves before Nike nixed Fox's fake. The 1989 Jordan 4 would rank higher up on my list, but the only reason it isn't, is because i coudn't get away with wearing them every day for normal kicken' it activities...such as going to the gym, a short run, or any place that they would get stepped on.

    I currently have probably about-
-4 pairs of the Air Max
-5/6 pairs of the Air Max 90
-4 pair of the Air Max 95
    -2 pair Air Max 97
    -4 pair jordan 3
    -5 pair Jordan 4
    -4/5 pair Jordan 5
-my original pair of jordan 6 from 1991 that are all rotted out midsole.
    -3 pair of Cortez
    -4 Pair AF1
And who knows what else. Some I VERY rarely spend full price on a shoe. I wait for sales or even buy a very slightly worn shoe in order to save a gob of $$$.

Wearing my Max's and Jordans bring me back to a time when my world was less complicated. It's like stepping into the shoes can be like a time machine for me. I was a decent runner back in high school, and i'm not exaggerating, but i might possibly have logged in more running miles in the Air Max 90's than anyone else in the world. Simply because when they reissued them, i bought more pairs of them when i was still training and racing in my early 20's though mid- 30's. My Air Max's have seen many a sub 5 minute miles. I also used to be able to dunk back in high school when wearing my Jordan 4's (back when i was 5' 10'' 135lbs). So yeah, LOTS of nostalgia for me.

And just to be clear, yes i know the Air Max is totally a crappy shoe for running in. But i didn't care back in highschool. In fact i had an argument with my running coach about how awesome they were, and he didn't know what he was talking about. I lived about 20 miles from the Nike headquarters growing up, so i was pretty much at ground central.

I'm not in the shoe collecting game anymore. Now i just wear them and enjoy them when we have nice weather.

My insurance agent buddy is a huge sneaker head and insures a few heavy hitting stores here in Dallas Fort Worth. He's always got new shoes for free lol. I'm pretty casual with sneakers. If I won't wear it I won't buy it. People don't understand how comfy some of these shoes are either. Even spending money on sneakers....I'm in flip flops or vans most days lol.
Most of mine are more recent releases.

    2 - Jordan 3's
    2 - dunk lows
    1 - dunk high
    1 - Air max 90
    1 - air max 1
    1 - Jordan 1 low
    2 - Jordan 1 high
1 - cortez one of my favorite shoes ever.

THIS. Shit pisses me off more than anything. I'll spend money on boots all day long, but it's f*****g hell trying to find a decent pair. Some of moc toe work boots are pretty forgiving on width, but I destroy them in a year too.

There's almost zero shoes available not made by children or slaves. That shit pisses me off.

Vans quality has been going downhill for 5ish years. I used to drag a pair through the mud for a year before replacing them. Now I'm lucky to get 4-5 months of light shop and even lighter casual wear out of them.

Vans and air walks used to be the bees knees back in middle and high school. But they've gone down hill, air walks more than vans, but Vans as well

and what @JakeJake says is spot on. Quality down the shitter the last 5-10

I’m sad nobody is repopping the old Vision Street Wear stipple in red/black or white/black. I’d shred em pretty quick bitd, but they looked awesome.

The Aisin kit is a good start. Buy from a reputable retailer.

I also did a radiator, upper/lower rad hoses, thermostat, valve cover gaskets, cam seals, crank seal, and probably a few things I'm forgetting. Great opportunity to clean/inspect everything up front with all the extra room for activities.

Made in the USA by American workers. There's more than a dozen boot mfgs in the US. I have some that are more than 30 years old and still wearable. Google "US made cowboy boots", you'll be surprised.

Never worn cowboy boots, and never will.

I rotate a couple of pair of made in USA Danner boots for heavy work. I'd go barefoot in the shop if it weren't for all the metal shavings, and sandals inevitably lead to burning the top of my feet.

I have bought one pair of cowboy boots in my 54 years, but that was due to my dumb young ass hooking up with a cowgirl and buying a horse many, many years ago (long story, didn't end well, but the sex was good).

Sounds like my usual welding attire of shorts, tank top, and sandals.

What i like about the Cortez is that it's a very affordable shoe. I like the simple classic black and white colorway. Back in 2005 Nike release the Cortez "Aztec" that had the head of a gold embroidered Aztec warrior on the side of it (instead of the swoosh). I saw it in a display case and i wanted a pair badly, but i didn't want to spend the paltry $70 at the time. About a month later they went on sale for $35 and i bought them on the spot. I found a pair of the correct length gold colored laces from nike's Jordan collection and laced them on the Aztecs. They looked straight fire after that! I still have them and wear them time to time. They still look like new.
