Same with mine here talking to the techs, no failures that they've seen or so they tell me.

Just took delivery of this today. Bittersweet driving out of the dealer as they had some sweet 1794’s with serious money in the hood and I think I was lucky to get this for a grand off MSRP.

Oh wow, look at this thoughtful note Toyota left me on my new purchase.

Still an interesting market out there in general. Pretty much everything not Nissan, Ford/Lincoln, CDJR, or full size truck is selling near list. I was surprised to get higher than KBB offers on my wife's 2015 CUV on all the major online sites. Carvana was almost $14k on a vehicle that was $10.7k on KBB. Thin pickings on the lot for new CUV. I am going to have to more than likely drive a few hours to find an acceptable color/trim combination

I did the same thing. I noticed right away that seems to be assembled much better, and is a lot more comfortable. I bought mine using an employee purchase program, so I definitely did not pay SRP. Ironically enough the engine recall letter was in the mailbox after I got home from picking up the LC.

MY24 Tacoma and Land Cruiser are much better in every way to the MY22+ Tundra.

My standards must be lower or I’m just not used to nice things but the build quality on my 22 SR5 is on par or better than it was on my 12 SR5. The 22 is much quieter on the inside and I think that lends itself to squeaks and rattles being more noticeable, not that there really is any of that but reading everybody else’s issues, the imagination does weird things.

Reference is to the build quality and comfort, not size.

2024 Tacoma is having its own growing pains. Land Cruisers were cool till they put turbos in them.

Wait till the 2025 or 2026 year... more bugs will be worked out by then

Initial build quality and comfort is much better than the 2022, on both the Tacoma and Land Cruiser.

I feel the same. Bought lightly used 22 SR5 after 12 years in an 07 SR5 and test driving a few Gen 2.5s (which I also love). Obviously I don't love the engine issue & hope/pray/trust the recall fixes it. That being said, the ride quality, noise, interior, handling all were light years better, and it's been a completely drama free year in the truck. Gonna get hate, but the 21 I tested felt more like my 07 than it felt like my 22 (I know that's a feature, not a bug, for some).

The 21 was your 07 - just dressed up.

How’s that? A filter that has a magnet or you added one to it?

The LC is a turbo4 hybrid Tacoma/4Runner platform SUV that tows 6k lbs for … 68-70 grand for the LC trim and premium package. Looks great but it’s got nooo business being loaded full size truck money. Should be 58-62 grand to be competitive.

Sorry for assuming that when you said much better in every way, I assumed that’s what you meant. Only certain ways I suppose.

The comment was in direct response to a quote talking about build quality and comfort.
