Replacing Front strut and rear shocks. Currently have Bilstein. They have around 6 years and
need replacement. Have heard newer Bilsteins not same as Old .Leaks??. Looked at KYB
KG54335 and 551119 as they are specific for this truck. Manufacturer told me they are made in Malaysia. I use truck only on road and have Goodyear SteadFast HT tires (265/65/17). Anyone have recent experience with this brand? Have not heard anything good on Monroe or Gabriel either. Are there other brands i should look at? Thanks in advance for any advice.

I'm surprised your Bilsteins are bad after only 6 years. I would expect them to last at least double that. What symptoms are you experiencing that leads you to believe they need replacing?

KYB shocks are great on these trucks. And they are experienced with 1st Gen Tundra. Def best road truck option.

Yup, that's what my factory shocks were on the '06 and I was really happy with them.
