Legit parts website?

I’m about to order some parts from a website called https://www.parts-sale.jp
It has the little “lock” symbol on my iPhone but I was just wondering if anyone has used or been abused by them before.

 

Never heard of it. I only see an overseas # and generic @outlook.com email. Those are red flags for me in case something goes wrong with the order. Send them an email with an easy to answer question and see if you get an answer and how long it takes. Just cause the site is secure doesnt mean their customer service is any good.

I’d still say stay away unless you aren’t spending much and are ok if you might lose what you spend.

What are you looking for? Maybe someone here know a legit website with a good deal.

Dude from part-sale.jp emailed me back in 1 hour 45 minutes and the email looked very professional and legitimate.
Gonna order and take my chances

 

It was a real website but they were also out of stock

 

Everything I saw said it was discontinued. Have you tried a junkyard website? There are some threads on here about the success people have had with them.

 

I found another thread on here that recommended using the stops for an 88 hilux instead, as they are the same width and 7/8” taller. PN 48306-35110

 

Probably better than RockAuto. More to come.

 

When in doubt use paypal, they always straighten it out if there's a problem.
