Did you wire it into the stock horns so that all 3 work? I ended up deleting the stock horns because I wanted more decibels and lower pitch. It makes people aware that's for sure.

 

I had it plugged into the stock horn for about a week. Partly to test it out, partly waiting for the push button switch to arrive.

I would have kept it wired to the stock horn, but did not for two reasons:

-the truck would not pass annual inspection without an OEM horn

-this horn is merely a toy for pissing off coworkers and loved ones (and neighbors )

 

I keep forgetting how a lot of the states back east require their annual inspections... what a pain.

 

I get annoyed every 11 months when I remember it has to happen..

but then I take a look around and realize how many POS’s aren’t allowed to hit the road as a result.

 

That's a really good point. It's all about perspective to stay positive. Good on you for maintaining it.

Got out of the shower yesterday afternoon and was getting ready to go pick up dinner when I noticed my wife had checked the mail, and I got a nice package (TWSS). Wife asked 'what did you get from your ToyoMofos?'
Me: Glow in the dark sasquatch. I got two.
Her: Cool. Let me see.
Me: [cuts open package, hides the lagniappe Betty (Thanks, Tom) at which she'd roll her eyes] Looky!
Her: You got two! One for me!
Me: Well, no; I was going to - -
Her: [firmly in permanent possession] Thanks! Now I just have to decide where I'm going to put it.

Placed order 11191 this morning.

Got some fun updates today!

My wife was on her way to one of her follow up appointments and called me in tears. I of course, was asking WTF... she couldnt take the waiting anymore and have been concerned with my anxiety about this heart monitor.. so she called my cardiologist while on the road. The doc was in a procedure, but the assistant looked at my charts and said "you know his device is constantly monitored right?" and then.... "but I can confirm, nothing to report from the monitoring."

She lost it... called me... I lost it... what a relief....

Shortly after she got home, they called me to cancel my upcoming stress test and confirm the MRI they want to do... plus they moved up my review appointment.. why? because there have been no other events since my procedure...

Damn, I am relieved.... The scariest part of life so far has been the idea of leaving these two special people... so we celebrated by taking our first walk out in the wild since he was born

Congratulations on the good results! Funny how we take things for granted but don't know it until we realize it could all be gone in the blink of an eye.

 

I cannot remember if I shared this or not... but here is the quick run down...

I was freaking out so I asked my doc for a cardiac referral. The cardiac told me it was mental and I had no signs. I told him I am the one paying, do something. So he scheduled a bunch of appointments and then put me on a monitor. I wore the monitor for the allotted time and then turned it in. They called me the next day.

"we look for two types of arrythmias. Not sudden death, and sudden death. you have the latter. get to an ER now."

This was the scariest thing I have ever went through up until that moment. Followed soon by the original tests showing nothing and them needed to "explore my heart from the inside."

Now... I thank God every single day that I was there to see my son be born and am here now to be with him and my wife. It could have ended in a widow maker with no warning.

So yes sir... you are correct and Thank you!!!! We are still cloud 10 over here.


Oh, and before anyone asks... all tests prove it wasnt lifestyle based and my arteries are clear. I had multiple VTAC and SVTAC's in the hospital and didnt know they were happening.
