Grip strength in people is very deceptive... I used to do very heavy shrugs and deadlifts w/o wraps, so the bar was often hanging in my upper pads or at times the bend in my fingers; which I believe really helped w/my grip strength. These days, I'm just old and fat... So, probably no where what it used be
