Crewmax cab for the rear sofa and roll down window, trailer or hitch rack/basket for cargo. 2021 w/key start, and added auxillary trans cooler with factory lines and thermostat. Trail Ed. Bedside boxes/cooler too. CD head unit is an easy swap.

For the reasons stated by both @2mchfun @Steplift20:
    - Key Start
    - CD Player
    - Rear Sofa
    - Rear Roll Down Window
** Added Bonus: Mob Boss Style Diamond Pattern Leather Seats + Dash

Edit: and can't forget factory transmission cooler

I don’t want or need a crew max reason, smaller bed ( if you have a pickup why would you want a smaller bed by a foot) rear window goes down, why do you need that? I have a sliding window and never opened it behnch rear seat I have that and storage under the seats. Someone wrote 2021 has a key start? I didn’t know that. Cool but then you stop the engine shuts off. Right?
I have cloth seats and both front seat covers and they are great, look like factory. And easy to install too

I would have gone with a double cab and the longer 6.5' bed if I didn't have a baby with a rear facing car seat. Tried fitting a rear facing car seat in a double cab my buddy owns and it was difficult to fit in there with the front driver's seat set to where he likes it to drive (and he's 5'7" - not tall by any means). I can use a utility trailer when the 5.5' bed ain't enough.

Yes, 2021 SR5 Trail Ed. Crewmax here. Yes, key start. No, doesn't shut off unless I turn it off. 1 reason for a roll down window, long cargo. 2nd, dogs. 3rd, much like taking a hard top off a Bronco or Jeep. 4th, crawl between camper shell and can or share interior space with a group as if in a Suburban. Many more advantages too. Maybe not for you, but many appreciate it. Short bed makes no difference, I have 2 convertible hitch bed extenders and a front receiver, plus a headache rack. I can easily transport a 24+' beam or finger jointed lumber items without a trailer or opening my rear window. If I need cargo or camping space, I have not one, but 6 different trailers, on of which is 16'x7.5'x 7' tall inside. So does a 5.5' bed matter? Not really. BTW, search for the thread about cracking seems under the front of the double cab bed, or take a look under yours. My understanding is that there is zero structural support at the front portion of that design. Several have developed cracks in the steel. Not exactly ideal either. Fact is everybody has different wants and needs. Doesn't really make any difference, just wanted to share my experience so you can see that all trucks have pros and cons that come with them.

I would say CrewMax Platinum 2021 would have been my ideal truck, but my 2020 is close. Ventilated seats, slide down rear window, back seat couch, and a bed big enough for all my needs. I drove a Platinum double cab, nice truck, but that back seat is functionally useless for anyone over 12, extra cargo room I guess.

2015 for all the above reasons. Simpler the better.

I wasn't in a position to buy a new Tundra until January, 2018. So, a 2018 it was.

Windows don't require a functional battery to operate
The ram air in the side vents blows more air than any fan in a modern vehicle
The payload is like a ton
I can access the glovebox without leaning
The transmission doesn't downshift when theres a breath of wind
    It gets like 30mpg
The bed has built in hooks to strap to
The tail gate uses literal chains to support itself
    Factory sway bars

You are not wrong. I miss the 86 I bought new. Only luxury it had was a/c.

    I agree. I bought a 1985 ram charger
    No power windows loved it
No A.C. Even better. side vent windows gave you all the fresh air you need
No radio,I put my own in
What it did have, 4x4. 4 speed Manuel trans power steering and power brakes and that s it. Also a 318 v8 it would pull a house. Simple is better ,to me anyway. That was the first new vehicle I ever owned. Great truck, not a SUV. It was a truck.
