If you can only go in a straight line, you may as well trailer your rig and bring it to the drag strip.

 

So shop is just saying not full functionality if you don't cut for clearance to articulate it?
You can trim stock to articulate 37s, doesn't need long travel. That's why the statement doesn't make sense to me .

 

I’d find a new shop. I brought my tires to discount tire and told them they’d fit.
I had already chopped body mount and pinch weld though.

 

Getting the most uptravel possible smashing through whoops. That advice to stay away from 37s came from bigger shops down here, one being Total Chaos.

 

I feel that man. I’m between abusing my truck offroad and daily driving. Little to no crawling, but a lot of whoops. I’ll likely drive the 35s I have out then move to 37s, but set them up the best I can to not take away too much bump travel. For crawling the 37s I’m sure help a lot.

And @Totmacher , we’re talking more than just cutting to fit while turning. I’m talking fully stuff, smashing whoops at 50mph, etc. I’d like to see any pictures of people who really “cleared” for 37s with mid travel and a lower static ride height if there are any. I haven’t seen any people on here post cycling suspension, etc.

 

I scuff the top of my wheel wells on some whoops. Usually at slower speeds, lol

btw no well liner either self cleared both sides at Cinders during Go Fast Friday

MT/LT setup makes no difference, 37s always going crash into your inner fender aprons at about 90% of maximum suspension uptravel. Those seeking to eek out that last “10%” will need to cut out a portion if not all of the inner fender apron. Mt will require more removal. Wire relocation, remounting battery, fusebox, abs etc are all in scope for that remaining percentage.

geometry of driveline becomes a concern past a certain point along with overall shock bottoming out etc.

Tires are soft and can deform around stuff. Think of em like spinning bumpstops…lol

i have more on my pc. Whoops straight line not the problem, stuffing it into a berm with gnarly whoops at heavy steering input is the challenge lol

Yeah, they came on the truck and don't look bad at all. Not a huge amount of poke, especially with the fender flares.

Wasn't sure if the BMC would take care of most of the rubbing or if negative offset wheels automatically create other issues.

Hello guys so I just joined the 2.5 gen club. I have a 1st gen tweaked up and now want to tweak the 2.5.

I definitely want to join the 37 club In the future so would like to know for the guys that run 37 what would you do differently?

What is the best lift for a street warrior to fit 37. Want it to ride smoothly and still go offload if needed.

Just mounted a set of the new Falken Wildpeak AT4w. These are much larger than the 37” BFG KM3s that they replaced.
I had to get a bit more aggressive with my BMC to make them fit without rubbing at full lock.
