Hello all, new member here. I have a 22 Platinum in Magnetic Gray Metallic on order and I'm looking to replace the gloss black fender flares with MGM body color fender flares.

Since a few of the trims like the Sport and Capstone have color matched flares I was hoping these could be ordered as an already-painted part. Anybody know of the part numbers or a good online dealer to order from?

    Thanks!

bushwacker has such a line of product, but it's like 500-600 bucks more than the unpainted version, so I would rather to get a unpainted one and wrap the color on my own.

highly suggest to get a unpainted and wrap on your own, which you can easily resell it when you don't want it

I never said they were cheap. Haha. I just noticed no one had answered the gentleman’s Q.

I ended up going this route for the mustache. I bought the unpainted, basic black upper portion of the mustache for $85 online. I’m going to either line it or wrap it myself and then install it when I do my bumper. I’ll be $130 into it if I DIY.

Thanks everyone for the warm welcome and quick replies. It’s nice to see an aftermarket solution but I wasn’t expecting $1150!

Is there a wrap that is a perfect color match for MGM? After a brief search looks like Oracal 970RA-937 is supposed to be close.

Where is a good place to buy the unpainted OEM fender flares?

Oracal 970RA-937 is an extremely close match, but not perfect. I wrapped the topper with it.

Yeah was wondering about painting the plastic surface… wonder if it would hold up but I guess GM has been painting plastic bumpers for years now so should be ok.

o yea, its fine, they are painted from the factory piano black as it is, so no worries there.

There isnt a reason to buy all new parts on top of the paint or wrap.

Personally wrap never looks as good as a good body shop color match, but thats just me

Oh no, the ones that came on my truck are raw plastic. No paint, no nothing. It’s honestly the cheapest looking part of the truck. But yeah I’ll look into getting them painted

I think because you have the TRD pkg, they are raw. A regular limited I think has painted grey or silver ones. I bought some aftermarket flares that are thicker than the OEM. I'm going to color match them eventually and put them on.

which fenders did you go with? Do you know about how much wider they are vs stock. I am looking for something close to a stock look but have have a little tire poke (maybe .5-1”) that I’d like to cover up

Anyone have the black gloss painted fender flares they want to sell that you replaced with aftermarket ones? Or even white! So hard to find.

you don't need to buy new parts, just have the ones you have painted at a good local body shop

I had a quote for $840 to have them painted along with the tailgate spoiler but was told the paint likely won’t stick long to that gritty matte black plastic as it’s not intended to be painted. I’ll just hope for a set to come along one of these days.
