Stuff the speaker in a pillow or stuffed animal that should muffle the sound...

Wouldn’t common sense say that would be something the driver would want to know at the time and not after they drive away without the key? I can’t see any rational reason for any vehicle to be able to be driven without the key.

It does let you know at the time via the beeping yet still running. Otherwise if your key fob dies while driving the car would turn off then, which common sense would say is a big problem...

I’m just saying it seems odd that you can drive this thing without the key in it. So if I start the truck and walk back inside to get something, with my key in my pocket, it will beep to let me know I took the key, but then anyone can just jump in it and drive it away.

Just found that you can reduce the volume of the beeps in the settings menu under the door and lock settings. It's lower down on the page so you have to scroll down the screen to see it. You can reduce the volume all the way down, and there are no more beeps. Not on lock. Not on Unlock. Not when you shut the door and walk away. Or you can set them to very quiet beeps.

    Thanks! Beeps no more...

Edit: Need to retract my last statement. Still beeps when I walk away. No beeps on lock/unlock.

It makes about as much sense as the remote start turning the engine off when you open the door WITH THE KEY (remote).
Anyone who doesn't know they got out of their truck and closed the door (intentionally) with the engine running probably shouldn't be driving.

Thanks for this. I found this thread after spending an hour clicking through Techstream and trying different settings with no luck; frustrating this isn't a simple toggle on/off. Interestingly, the volume for this speaker should be controlled by the following setting: My Settings - Driver 1 - Warning Buzzer Volume. I adjusted this setting and it worked for the beeping coming out of this speaker for "normal" beeps like keyfob lock/unlock. However, the adjusted volume setting did not work at all for leaving the vehicle with keyfob while ignition is still on. It still produced the 7 annoying beeps at full volume. So, the only option is to unplug or physically muffle the speaker, so I just unplugged it following your picture below.
Very frustrating as I car camp regularly with this truck (2023 Limited). While I am packing up in the morning, I start it up to warm up in winter or get the AC blasting in summer and I open/close the door quite a few times causing a cacophony of beeps that I am sure my fellow campers enjoy.

I just came across this too! Thank you @Nschmittsd for finding this. I tried adjusting the volume from Carista and other places but that annoying constant beep when closing the door and keys not in the truck, was still there.

I looked up under the driver fender liner

I found the little box, unplugged it, tried to close the door while truck was on and keys in my pocket outside the truck and didn't hear anymore beeps! I just taped up the connector and plug end just to try and keep some water from getting in there.

Just unplugged this and no more beeping when I get out of the running truck with keys in my pocket! I have the lock/unlock set to beep (not honk), so now when I lock or unlock the truck with the key fob, I only have the lights flashing. No audible beep.

    Thank you for this.

I’m glad it helped! Definitely one of the best “mods” I’ve done on the truck so far.

The previous owner of my truck installed a Compustar remote starting/alarm system since the truck didn't have the factory.
I guess the plus is my vehicle doesn't shut off when I open the door.
    Didn't know Tundras did that.

I'm in and out of my running truck frequently around our ranch. I just leave the FOB in the center console tray most of the time. No beeping.
