After installing them yesterday afternoon I had to make a 60-mile trip and took all back roads. To say I am happy with the ride results is an understatement, now we need to see how they tow.

Installed a sPod BantumX switch panel kit made for the Tundra. Super clean and easy.

Question for you guys that got bad mileage out of the oem tires. What brand were they?

My truck came with Bridgestones and I have had good luck with them in the past but I know that they are not all the same and I only have 1700 miles.

PS. I just ordered a set of running boards, pics and more to follow.

Mine were Michelin LTX from the factory, complete garbage. Lucky my local tire dealer gave me $100 bucks each for them. He said he does rental vehicle tire replacements so I think he will profit from them. OK by me.

Falcon Wild peak "at3" but they're an OEM version - passenger rated too. 20k in and I don't have enough tread for winter. Top 3 lousiest tire I've had.

OEM versions of just about anything are trash. My Highlander came with Goodyear Eagles. Horrible tire. No traction, very bad and loud ride. My new Tundra has Yokohama somethingorother, hope they will be decent in the winter.

Can confirm. All the OEM's do it, and have been for quite a while.
Anyone old enough to remember the Uniroyal Tiger Paws GM put on just about everything back in the day? Junk.
How about Dunlop run-flats on an Infiniti? SP Sport5000 IIRC. Absolute trash tires. And expensive as hell to boot.

I love the KO3's (275/65R20 on my Limited with TRD lift). Have had multiple sets of KO2's and the traction on wet roads weren't as great as the KO3's. Looking forward to a trip to CO/WY/UT this winter and seeing how they differ in the snow.

Put a Garmin dash cam in using the stock dash cam plug in. I may end up changing it or finding a flush fit wire. But it’s running for now

Mannn this is so frustrating. I dropped off the truck on Monday and told them no rush just do it when they have time. They said it’d be the next day but I repeated no rush.

They call me the next day asking where the wheel key is. I honestly didn’t know and said that, but he couldn’t find it. So the following day I went back and found it behind my kids car seat. No harm no fouls.

They call yesterday to let me know it’s done. Cool I say. I’ll be there Thursday (today) to pick it up.

Not what I wanted to see :(

I've never been a fan of wheel locks. They won't stop thieves at all.

Naw, they won’t but a shop with elite in their name shouldn’t destroy lug nuts or your wheel lock key.

here’s some pics of them installed though. Terra grapple 275/65/20

Those are the new G3's right?

Got any more pictures? I'm looking to purchase the same size but debating between these, the Recon's, and the Ridge Grapplers.

Yessir. Debated on the ko3s and the falken wild peaks but I don’t plan to go off roading more than 2-3 times a year and these are more road focused from what I understand. They weren’t really noisy but you could hear a low hum.

What are you looking for? I can go take some more photos.

Nope. 323 for the alignment, mount, balance, disposal, and they even charged me for the part they broke.

I admit I should have looked it over before I swiped the cc but hindsight is 20/20.

I mean, they didn’t charge him to put the wheel lock key back in the truck. Pretty big perk right there. :-|
I’d say they used an impact wrench… which any shop should realize is not suggested.
They probably got annoyed key wasn’t in right place to begin with ‘I’ll fix him’.

And the kicker was that it was in the stock location from factory. In the bag behind the right passenger seat.

I’m about to go back up there and see what they’ll do.
I’d like the wheel fixed/replaced but I think at the very least they should refund the lugs they damaged which I seemed to have paid for and refund me enough to go buy four more.

I have the same kit but ended up moving my switch panel to the center console with a 3D printed flush mount. Curious, if you've noticed a faint rapid ticking noise coming from your switch panel when it's awake but not connected to bluetooth. Doesn't matter if the truck is on or off. It's very faint and any ambient noise would wash it out. Mine does and I have to turn my ear towards it to hear it in a quiet environment. Worked with sPOD/BD about it and they've acknowledged it after listening to recordings I sent them, but there's no known cause for it. They sent me new cables, circuit board, and two different switch panels, and the ticking persists after each individual change. Tried connecting a touchscreen switch panel and it also ticks. I don't notice it anymore but I gave up trying to find the cause.

Started to rip mine apart for new headlights to go in finally. Also took off the front air damn since some road debris snapped the spoiler in two.

going to take several hours to clean up the clusterF of wiring that alpharex has but hopefully all goes well
