That green is oh so sexy. At the time I was looking, none to be had, now, a good number of them.

All my trucks are Green. Wrap lasts 3-4 yrs, not a very long term idea.

I can guarantee ya, coked out assholes in Alberta trucks aren't all just 19! I hate white.. period. first thing if I'm even interested
in a truck is if it's white it has to be exceptional and second thing - how much to paint it.

All trucks scratch to white. Primer between metal and paint is white =)

Gotta disagree, cause you can't put white under a whole lot of colours because it messes up the colour. My last two trucks
one Land Cruiser is Black Jade the Tundra is Sitka Green, no way there is any white under there. Even the sealer has
    to be coordinated.
Maybe this new single stage paint, which is something I'm not going to comment on as all I can say is 'ugh'.

Is that a 2024 Tundra colour now? Lunar Green? I've got a Tundra to paint.
If you find a pic of an example post it up.

It's not white in northern Canada, rather camouflage much of the year.

I recall most being sold for excessive amounts of similar colored paper during the last year. Like 15k markups or similar.

    2024 SR5 Crewmax 4x4 ~ 50K new

So, will save 10-15k buying 2021, and will get the last of the 5.7L V8

You should go drive them both, see what you think.

We have an ‘02 Tacoma, ‘17 Tundra, and ‘24 4-runner (last year for the V6), they’re all great!

It's definitely personal opinion on the older gen Tundra's. I've owned both a 2012 crewmax (5.5' bed), and currently own a 2005 double cab (1st gen crewmax). I like both trucks for different reasons. The gen 2 (2007-2013) and 2.5 (2014-2021). I liked the 2012 for comfort, powerful engine, and towing. It felt big to drive, but was very reliable. My 2005 is a good truck too. Plenty of power for my needs, feels smaller, easy to drive, 6'2" bed with double cab, has been reliable and easy to work on. Both trucks suck on fuel. I get about 12-14 city, and 19-20 highway in my 2005--depending on if I am in the mountains or at sea level. I've driven to Alaska and back in my 2005, and it did very well. Comes down to which vehicle you enjoy driving more. I flew to Maine to buy my 2005 Tundra as it was in mint condition. Sometimes travelings long distances to get the right truck is worth it.

I agree, my new '24 has too much plastic & aluminum. But that was the cost to meet EPA standards. Putting new bumpers on the '24, tires, (lift if wanted) etc. all come at an extra expense and contribute to lower gas mileage. I still like my truck, but wished Toyota had kept the 5.7 in it. I am getting around 14 to 15 mph city driving in the '24 Limited TRD OR 4X. About the same as my '17 5.7 2X. Highway not determined yet.

Another note on aluminum (just food for thought): - A baseball came over the house and hit the hood of my previous truck (in the driveway) and left a baseball dent in it. The auto body shop could not lift the dent out because the seams of the ball left a ridge in the middle of the dent. So they had to fix it the traditional way and repaint. Cost was $1300. 2 other shops turned the job down because it was aluminum. Flying object out of the sky.

Stay away from black and the platinum model if it has automatic adjusting steering column. This constant adjusting leads to broken wires, you don't want problems.
