Got the Kicker powered sub installed by shop today. It sounds good. Adds thump and what is missing from the JBL stereo. The shop did a great install and part of the process was removing the 3 ANC mics so they would not fight the new noise. All in all I would recommend. Keeps factory controls.

Finally color matched the from grille trim and the rear bumper. I got the parts from OEM painted parts. This is my second time ordering from them the color is damn near perfect.

Interesting. This is my third sPod on a truck build and I never noticed any sound. I will check it out though and let you know if I have similar ticking sound. Cheers

Sounds good. sPOD/BD says they've never come across this before, so it's likely an isolated issue. Just doesn't make sense after troubleshooting with all new components. Every switch panel I plug in ticks. When I connect to bluetooth, it stops ticking and turns into a faint hum.

So you couldn’t gut the factory sub and put it in the factory location?

Built a “shelf” under my Xtrusion Overland XTR3 for my camping tables. Came out perfect. Pic is when I tested it out, it’s currently off truck getting painted black to blend in better. Best part is I can still use my slide out, no interference at all.

You got any pictures of that center console mount? I don't think I've seen any like that.. I've seen the overhead and the driver side trim mount above the other buttons.

edit...great product and no affiliation. Rarely even use but have moreso for passengers and tbh makes the holders 'look' better.

Yup, normal for break in and nothing worrysome. Here's what came out of my rear diff at 4,300 miles. Shavings are fine. Chunks are bad.

Bought this Platinum. Traded my 4Runner. I really like this truck. I’m not going to mod this truck but really have to fill these wheel wells and will be looking at you’ll trucks for ideas.

I briefly thought about it but the labor needed didn’t really make enough sense. I still have too much storage area and won’t miss losing behind seat. Plus this has little modification impact in case it’s ever sold. Just drive 500 miles and I really do like it. And I’m a guy who had a “system” in all my other vehicles. The factory sub is still on and working. It’s like having an extra tweeter lol

You’re better off using some type of glue or 3M tape. That’s what I did when I had my 4Runner and gonna do when I install my rear camera on my Tundra.

I tried the bracket method and was a waste on money IMO.

Added Pro flares and Predator steps. Wheels and tires on order should be here this week. I went with Method 305 17s in machine to kind of match the paint.

I couldn't disagree with this more than I do. That mount is super solid if installed correctly. Way cleaner of an install than glue or tape, only place would be onto the headliner, not a chance.

Must've failed on the install. I've had mine for about 2 years now. 110° summers and tape I used has held fine, no issues whatsoever.
