I'm good. Thanks for checking. We got a lot of rain in Knoxville but nothing like the devastation they received in the mountains. Entire towns were washed away. Countless bridges, roads, and parts of both I40 and I26 are destroyed. I just read they are sending 20 trucks of water and 1 million MRE's to Asheville. One of the TVA dams near us is releasing 450,000 gallons per second.

Just talked to one of my cousins up there. She was heading back to Knox from NC and told me how bad it is. I can’t believe i40 through the gorge is gone. This is insane

Correct. Dam is wide open. I believe this is a record. They actually thought some of the smaller dams in the mountains were going to fail but they held.

In a group chat with Wally and he was able to get a message out earlier today. Only has internet at work. Says he lost just about everything in the flood but luckily was in the tundra on Friday trying to get into work before he got trapped by downed trees. Was able to make it back home the next day but says the looting is starting to pick up. Don’t want to speak too much as I may misrepresent but I’d love to get something going for the guy. Just a sucky situation all around.

That being said. Nothing like having one of the most reliable vehicles ever made in a post-apocalyptic world, though

I used a personal massager(not that kind, an ACTUAL personal massager) on mine when I did my install/cleaning. It worked about the same.

I was there with my grandson. Got a Dodger practice ball thrown up at me. Manny snagged it.

 

My son is a combat veteran with pts and some other problems. I know there’s a lot of bad stuff said about the VA, but the care my boy has received was absolutely amazing and exceptional. From counseling and training for us as caregivers, coordinating with a service dog to providing an avenue for retraining and support finding a job, they were supportive all the way. This was at the Phoenix VA, which got some of the worst press and reviews. I’m just saying 2 things; don’t paint with too broad a brush and that we’re grateful!

I’ve said it before, brute/champion drill bits are totally worth it. Some lube, and get to drillin!!!
They make some double ended short shanked bits that might be even more useful if your doing a lot of the same stuff
