Toyota will more than likely never do this. They are very conservative with their tunes, but very liberal with their policies.

    Pretty much this.

If I was looking for a "turn key" "sport truck" the Raptor R w/ extended warranty would be my only choice.

    Shame Toyota never offered one.

    If time and money we're no object I'd build a gen2/2.5. SC'd/caged/linked......

Some members here have some nice examples.

Good on Ford giving enthusiast's more options.

not interested in a Ford, just making a point that TRD is WAY OVERPRICED AND WILL REQUIRE PREMIUM FUEL PERIOD. There is a Tru-Control on market place here for $400...that's friggin stupid pedal commander $!
32hp $3400 permanent vs 80hp $800 fully adjustable throws no codes...I was that Toyota tax guy but I'm sorry Spanky, no more, I've got to live my own life...

Toyota already does a tune for more power and performance. It comes with SR5 and up trims and their upcharges. Or is the SR detuned for a savings? You make the call.

Someone correct me if I am wrong…..this is not an apples to apples comparison. The raptor has the components and guts to be a supercharged Baja off road vehicle…..that’s why it starts at close to six figures. To suggest Toyota should do the same with a trd pro isn’t exactly the same……the pro is the same engine as other trikes with SOME upgraded components that are more of an appearance package. In order to get a tune on a tundra that is going to significantly to boost HP and off road capability you have to upgrade many more things and sink a lot more mo ey I to it…..or am I wrong?

The video is on the Ranger Raptor, which isn't near 6 figures. The normal (f150) raptor isn't either, and both are already turboed. No supercharger readiness or anything. The f150 is a turbo V6 just like the Tundra. It's a perfectly valid suggestion.

The only raptor approaching/breaking the 6 figure mark is the Raptor R that is rocking a V8.

Hah. No. I can't spend that kind of money on a car/truck. I'm honestly hoping to be done buying vehicles, but I've said that before....

Find me a smoking hot redhead sugar momma and I'll get one. That's about the only way it'll work.
