We can see the Northern lights again. What a weird year this has been.

I can see it out here. Faintly with the eye, but much better through a camera.

Man! You need to get a telescope in an environment like that. I use mine a good bit but I'm waiting on new lenses to arrive for better views.

There's plenty of good areas for viewing the sky out here. I'm interested in getting a spotting scope for wildlife viewing, not as interested in stargazing with a telescope. One of the ranger stations in the desert has a nice telescope though and will often have free viewings of Jupiter and different things.

A Jaguar in SoAZ would be pretty cool to see, but would take a good amount of patience and luck. I spend a lot of time in the outdoors so there's not much I haven't come across just by chance.

I guess I'm ignorant, but I had no clue that we had Jaguars in the US. I had to do a Google on this because it's very interesting. "The last known female jaguar in the U.S. was killed in the 1960s". That's pretty depressing, though.

I don't think there's an established population anymore, just jaguars wandering back and forth to Mexico like this guy https://www.azcentral.com/story/new...s-mysterious-jaguar-what-to-know/71803470007/

I think there's been a little less than a dozen photographed in the country in the last few decades. I wouldn't be surprised if they're spotted more often than what's publicly reported. Farmers might be incentivized to kill them if they're attacking their cattle.

Jaguars were present across the us, including the Florida area. Jacksonville football team is even named after them

My wife used to live in Homosassa FL back in 77-78, right on the border of the Wildlife Preserve there.
She was 6 or 7 years old, walking past their sliding glass door and 15ft away at the wood line was a big black panther with bright yellow eyes.
Her parents didn't believe her until her dad went out and found the big tracks.

Son of a... Been driving the 06 for 2 days, CEL already popped twice for p0430 and once for p0420. I guess I'll be removing the last two skid plates to install some O2 sensor spacers. Changing the sensors on this truck was a PITA, even with the O2 sensor tool. They screw into the cat and are angled weird. Inspection was up in September. So just add it to the list of things that have to be done before Merus. FML

What year did they start putting o2s IN the cat instead of post cat? That sucks. Mine hasn't thrown the 0430 for a LONG time, ever since I started running OdyOff exclusively (no freeway, just short work commute).

These are aftermarket cats. But the 05-06 have the screw in sensors, as opposed to the ones with the oval flange and two bolts. I think they went behind the cats, on the pipe itself on my 06 from the factory. But litterally nothing on my exhaust is original

Weird that replacements would have them IN cat, instead of post cat. I wonder if that has anything to do with your issue?
You could plug the holes in the cats and weld in a couple bungs post cat on the pipe, like stock location.
I'm sure I'll be weighing out my options for this in a few years with either sims, or the capacitor/resistor method I used on the Civy.

Maybe. But I'd rather not go thru the trouble. I've had these cats on this truck for close to three years now. Once I changed all four O2 sensors, the CEL went away and only would come back like once a year. I'm hoping once I'm done breaking in these gears and I don't have to drive like a grampa anymore, I can give her an Italian tune up and solve it, because she'd been sitting almost a year. But I already have O2 spacers in the garage. So either way, I'll figure it out. Just a PITA when I've already got so much to do before Merus. Can't get inspected or registered until I get it solved. I don't want to drive 12hrs across the state with outdated registration. The good news is I finally got my insurance cards to print. So one obstacle down. Lol

Essentially what I'm doing by driving w/o OD. I didn't know the history, like that they were working fine before. Getting them good and hot helps I think.
