Lightbars, lift, custom wheels, larger tires.
Can anyone recommend some modifications to make to my Tundra? I have added the usual stuff: custom wheels, all-terrain tires, and light bars for every direction (night driving in the country). My truck bed has a tonneau cover, but I'm thinking of switching to an Overland-style bed rack as I have a lot of tools and other things mounted in the back. Just looking for some general cool things that I should think of adding or that the community feels are must-haves.

Edit: I forgot I added Morimoto XB Headlights and 4 Banger Foglights.

Links would be appreciated if you've got something.

Tranny cooler, driver side grab handle, front and rear anytime camera, rock sliders and cat sheilds are must haves in my book.

Curious where you put the anytime camera switch if you have a platinum since there are no open spots.

If you are on road a bunch or do any mid to heavy towing- TRD rear sway bar.

If you are leveled and do any hauling or towing, HD version of RAS. Great way to help support the weak leafs and gain 1-1.5 lift for the rear. Much better ride than AAL or shackles.

Desert does it seat jackers- huge improvement in comfort

TRD Led headlights and @iHacker harness if your truck has halogens

Whatever flavor of cat shield you like, Tundras are easy targets for CAT theft and if they are stolen your truck is out of commission a while...and the huge cost.

All of these are not too expensive and go way beyond cost/benefit

Banks Pedal Monster. Easy install, super noticeable right away, and relatively inexpensive (as far as mods go).

I'm not sure right now, I bought mine years ago from sparks. I'm sure you can still get the components individually from any dealer. All you really need is the handle and the panel itself, the hardware is pretty common.

So are the seat jackers mostly of benefit to taller drivers?

I'm not like, a member of the Lollipop Guild or anything, but if I fall down I don't have quite as far to the ground as most people.

You can buy the pillar and grip independently from any Toyota dealership (ideally, the closer to you, the better… but shop around because different dealers will have different prices). Alternatively, you could buy them from a Japanese company, but it could be weeks to months before it’s delivered. Take a look at these 2 threads for more info: Driver’s Side Grab Handle and Drivers side grab handle UPDATE!! If you need some metric hardware, then send me a DM or just buy the SAE hardware from Lowe’s (either hardware set works).

I put mine in the HU. Also programmed the Maestro "Press n' Hold" secondary function for one of my steering wheel control buttons to bring up the front cam, or there's a "CAM" button on the HU itself.

OP, having power and lighting in the bed comes in VERY handy.

Cheap and easy mods that are really useful.

Katzkin leather, Dirty Deeds exhaust, and swap out all bulbs for Vleds. And if you still have factory sound, burn it and get a good system with CarPlay or android.

Probably mostly for taller people but maim benefit is it raises the seat at the knees so your not at a decline while sitting.
