    ^ this.

You'll see it on the invoice but in the final charge, it's added as a discount.

Shipping is free up to $200 (even says in ad). They wanted to charge me over $300 to ship 4 rotors and 4 pad?!

Just go to discount tire. $60/wheel installed and programed, done and done. I actually had 2 installed on my wife's LC and they did the spare for free!

Dealer will probably charge at least $100 to program

Thats pretty inexpensive- going to give them a call.

Would you know if the rubber stem version or the machined stem version is better than the other.

One wheel currently has the rubber stem version and thats the tire i keep adding air to (need to have it checked for a leak elsewhere), but i bet its the sensor/stem leaking.

The other 3 are the machined version and have been on the car since we purchased it in 2017.

There are no all rubber tpms valves that I'm aware of, they are all alum stems. So that one may be even be and actual tpms valves!

My 2008 tundra needs new sensors, I’m a little confused because I have a scan gauge and it shows that the truck currently has five sensors installed. But the spare is a rubber stem.

Is it worth it to pay for OEM sensors or just buy some from discount tire for less the price?

I normally replace everything on the truck with OEM parts never aftermarket

Discount will scan and let you know what, if any, that need to be replaced, again, for free! Then if you need one, ~$60/sensor for install and programming. I'm usually an OEM guy as well, but have used discount on like 4 different vehicles and worked out great! Dealer will charge at least $100 for programming, let alone install and the actual sensor. Seems a no brainer to me to go discount for this specific item

Well, after making an appointment with DT we found out all 4 TPMS sensors are actually good and our issue was a small screw in the tire.

Good thing it was in between the treads, so it was easy to patch. Saved a couple hundred.

So I was trying to order some parts but it seems like the 25% off is coming off the msrp not the regular price. As you can see in the pictures the total for parts at the regular price is $759.68 but when I go to the check out it gives the sub total as $1098 then the discount is applied.

Something in your cart (TRD Sway bar) is considered to be “accessories” and extra 25% discount does not apply.

Wording of the sale is “Extra 25% off select Genuine Toyota Parts + Free Ground Shipping on Orders Over $75 Sitewide”

Sometimes the promo will state parts and accessories or just accessories.

I found this out when I bought the TRD skid plate. Had to wait for the right promo.

Your 100% correct, no 25% off on TRD. I added just the TRD sway bar and no discount.

LED headlights showed up. Left one had a broken tab. There’s basically no packaging in the box. Left two messages with the parts dept last week. No call back so far. Anyone had luck resolving issues like this with this dealer?

Really looking forward to getting these installed.

Does replacing halogens with the LED remedy the recall for these? Sorry I'm new to tundra and a bit late to the game.

Ordered a pair the other day, waiting on delivery. Hopefully they arrive ok. I ordered some coolant and oil filters, got them yesterday along with a large box of styrofoam marshmallows. Pro grill and bulge ordered today.

I would say yes. Had the recall done, right headlight bulb burned out. Replaced with LED and ihacker, no issues since.

What did you order? Seems like most of us that ordered on day 1 has either gotten their parts already or at least a shipping notice.

Still on the fence about ordering some new TPMS sensors. Eventually I want some method wheels, but then I have to swap current tires to new ones and mount and balance them again, and then probably want a lift with the new wheels. At times I wish I just got the higher trim and leave everything stock.

I replaced my halogens with LEDs and ihacker harness. Went to the dealership for an oil change and asked them not to perform the recall procedure, but they did it anyway.

So it might depend on which dealership, and how stupid they are.

There isn't a dealer in the world that will touch the truck. Idk what pops did but it's got about a dozen "visit your dealer" warnings. Lol
I'm gonna check out the hacker harness y'all are talking about and order the LEDs through the sale. Thanks again for the help. Y'all are awesome
