Rotated the tires on my 2020 and cannot get the pressures to come back up. Anyone have any luck getting them to reset? The manual is worthless and the TPMS tool isn't cooperating either. Yes, they are OEM sensors and worked until I did the rotation. The drive cycle does not work no matter how many times I try it.

    Curious what you find out.
since I got new tires and new oem sensors, it takes a few minutes driving before dash will display pressures. Old ones use to show up pretty quick at startup.

    Glad I have a 2017 so I don't have these problems.

Got mine to register ok. Started the truck and waited for the tpms light to stop flashing, did the 3x button press, went for a drive and they registered. A little curveball, I added a 5th for a spare and first time it got the tire positions confused. Went back and rotated the spare under the bed so the valve was all the way to the back, repeated the process and now it is right.

Maybe drop by a local tire shop to ask about it since nothing you've tried is working?
Ive had local shop register sensors with their handheld tool in the past at no charge.

Mine was a nightmare when I put new sensors in. It took a while for them to register and initialize but I was good after that. I rotated the tires and the display went to dashes. I know that the truck sees them. If I deflate a tire, the low pressure warning and light will come on.

Ok so the latest on this annoying BS. I rotated tires a couple of months ago from front to rear. The pressures went to dashes and never came back. Well today I disconnected the battery while I was doing a power panel in the bed. Once I hooked the battery back up, my tire pressures read on the display now. They are reading correctly for being on the front and rear, however, they are reading on the opposite side of the truck. The RF and RR tires are showing on the driver's side. :annoyed:

    TEXAS!

for my '19, i need to "initialize the tire pressure warning system" after rotating the tires. this process is detailed in the manual, page 496-497.

this worked for me, as i tested it with different pressures in each tire. i needed to verify for my ocd.

i would imagine this would be the same w/ ur '20. manual pages may differ some, however, all this is detailed under the do it yourself maintenance section, tire pressure warning system subsection.

    Nothing.... yet.
Are you talking dash or on your deck? My dash shows my correct pressures, but my deck has them rotated 90°.

Dash and deck both have them backwards.

Anybody find a fix for this? Last week I had a screw in my rear driver side tire. I ran the spare for a day while getting the tire fixed and now that it's back on I can't for the life of me get TPMS to reset and display pressures.

It's a pain in the ass on the 2020 and newer models. That's why I have two Autel TS508's.

100% a PITA! The other day after driving for 40 minutes I put the truck in park while at a red light and went through the recalibration process. It registered the tire pressure after a couple of minutes. On my way home from work I lost the pressure reading and couldn't get it back for a couple of days. I've got it back again, hopefully it doesn't drop. Super annoying considering all I did was take a wheel off for a flat repair.

It's definitely a pain. When I do tire rotations, I don't touch the button any more. Having the TS508 is a lifesaver.

Thank you! I'll get an Autel and some OEM sensors ordered. (Your methods and advice have always been spot on and have always worked for me).

    Not sure at this point.
What was the process like with the Autel?

I think the 2020 was when the new TPMS were installed right?

I have 5 sitting around and 1 tire on without a TPMS cause the tire guy snapped it right off…

Can you explain how to use the Autel when you need it? Like where in the setting and what to look for to get the truck computer to register the sensors, even for oem sensors. Thanks
