Add power boats to that list. Around here the saying is the two best days will be the day you buy it, and the day you sell it.

I believe the interior lights have their own fuse. Not 100% certain on that, but when I got my truck that fuse was pulled because of a faulty door switch that would leave the lights on.

I put them in a different category. I've had six power boats. I lived on a lake in Texas for 16 years and had lots of fun with them. Boats don't stir up road dust like ragtops do.

Thanks. I'll try removing that fuse and see what the "door ajar" light does. It's possible that the door switch simply grounds that light circuit and the door ajar light.

I believe you’re correct- it just grounds the circuit. There’s only one wire going to the door switches.

Is it different on the AC's? Because i just disconnected my driver door switch, so the truck doesnt know when my door is open

I think I'm going to try to do an aux fuse block soon. I'd like to clean up the battery terminals. I have some cheapo fuse block I got off Amazon years ago, but I may invest in something nicer. I need to connect to my ditch lights, e-locker, bed lights, and sound system. I think that's it for now. Eventually will add a winch, maybe air.

    I hate wiring :annoyed:

I reeeaaalllly wanna try some Method centercaps on my wheels as they are the only low profile centercap option I see anywhere available for our hub bore size. My aftermarket wheels have 108mm center bore like the Methods do. Caps are $45 a piece from Method, so pretty spicy. Would love to try one for fitment before I buy.

Which ones do you have? I'm thinking I need this style to work with mine. Low profile 108mm push through.

Those are the exact ones I have now. Pretty sure I paid $100 shipped for all four during a sale, bought direct from Method.

This is what the wheels came with, I have five of these.

If shipping was reasonable, or you were closer, that would be worth a shot.

Yeah, it'd probably fit in a medium flat rate, but those are ~$19.

2 trucks w/hitches could get that out with come-alongs.

i help my friends out of pickles, the only real pickle i've ever gotten myself into was sinking an xr80 to the handlebars about 1/4 mile from anywhere. Took me 6 hours to drag it out using a dirtbike helmet visor as a shovel. I was only a 2 hour walk from home, but didnt think it would fight that hard.

First off, side note. I think i saw the original RTT LC guy from hidden falls on 3351 yesterday. It was identical, and the rear window wasnt tinted to match. But at hidden falls that poor dude got recovered twice by dudes with winches, and needed to be told to just send it. Took me less than a minute to hurt his feelings enough to get him out of his pickle. He hit his chick & pulled a gun later, back at camp, but what else are friends for?

polo does not approve of my diy bucket truck. He's like, wtf is wrong with you?

It's $250 for the 1st hour then $50 an hour. They just send the merus jeep out to get you. No major recovery vehicle.
