Purple power will damage some paint at full strength, and it will remove all that pesky skin from your hands with enough exposure. The only thing I like more for a big greasy mess is oven cleaner.

My Dad swears by this stuff: https://www.homedepot.com/p/LA-s-To...308/308562989?source=shoppingads&locale=en-US

You can buy it in bulk at big orange (Home Despot) and at Dollar Store or Dollar Tree.

He just used it to clean his camper he's selling. Shined the paint right up. The rubber moldings on the outside had left streaks down the paint and it wasn't washing off with standard car wash stuff. He diluted the L.A.A. to 50% and sprayed it on, and stuff wiped right off. Rinsed the camper, let it dry, then waxed it.

Hey, I like L.A.A too! Just not as much a PP.

My go to "mild" degreaser is Simple Green.

Do normal people rank degreasers like this? Asking for a friend.

Same. Magic on the stubborn black streaks on a camper.

Nope, I do it too. I definitely have my favorites and you listed most of them.

I'll just say, this Griot's product works extremely well in engine bays, cuts through shit with minimal agitation, and is safe for connectors and alloy. Still need to follow standard precaution, i.e. disconnect negative battery cable, use a blower to blow excess water out of everything after, then give time to dry out.

Currently the high bidder on the auction Tundra @ $1575.00 with 18 hours before the live auction starts. Im guessing it go's for 3-4x my max bid, but sometimes the universe provides.

Most auctions I've been involved with, most of the bidding takes place the last minute.

    100%

I've got other obligations tomorrow or I would have waited to bid.

This same auction house I scored a 1970 f700 with 43,000 original miles and the factory build sheet in the glove box. Drove that son b' home on a lowball bid of $1200 iirc.

Their software will bid for me in $50 increments until It reaches my max bid.

Sounds like eBay. I just won a bid on these using that same auto bid process, but I had to raise my max bid a few times in the last 3 hours.

I've been wanting an old bumpside F700 as a build project for some time. I'd like to transform it into a brushfire truck. Mods would include a 4x4 conversion, 12v cummins swap, HUGE water tank, and a water cannon of some sorts.

That was a slick truck. Local college bought it new and it never left the campus. I ended up trading it for a g30 van on mag wheels that we affectionately called "the green grape van". Lots of free candy jokes.

I've mentioned it before, but my truck was "won" at a casino. My dad won a Camry in 2004 at the Casino and traded it in for the truck and paid the difference, then I eventually bought the truck off him.

    I think I got my money’s worth out of my truck. $27,500 new/ 22 years = $1,250 /year.

I paid $300 for my 2000 tacoed Tunda 4wd. Then immediately sold the canopy off of it for $500. It was tons of fun to drive it around for 1.5 years. That truck doesn't really count since it was totaled, but it sure was the best beater work truck that i've ever owned. Of course the buy-in price went up when i removed the entire engine and drivetrain and swapped it all into the 2004 2wd that had a nice body but a blown engine.

I have to say, even though she's rusty, it's not half as bad as some of the shit I've seen randomly posted here!
And for some reason its super quiet inside, no rattles like say... a 24yr old domestic would have.
But yeah, she's a twisted rusty old beast, but ugly girls need love too.
The honeymoon will def be over once I tear into that rust and start armature hour body work.
Been looking down south, but only about 1% of them are 4x4.

Hey guys I’m having an issue with my 1998 Camry. I was wondering if you guys have any input on it, I know it’s not a tundra but you guys usually are a big help no matter what. The car cut off one morning on the way to work and I’ve done a couple things including spark plugs, spark wires, idle control valve, and crankshaft position. When I start the car it runs for about 3 seconds and then cuts out, I’m thinking it’s a fuel issue at this point but I was wondering if you guys had any input.
