Can the "old timers" share the whole story behind Ryan Gregg (who seems like an excellent resource) being banned from this forum? I am seeing his name in passing on numerous threads but cannot find out what happened, exactly...

Yep.. this is another reason why an explanation (for the newbies) is needed. I have no idea what this comment is supposed to mean....

 

Cliff Notes-

Guy "in the know" posted TSB's and screen shots of proprietary Toyota documentation. Cease and desist followed from Toyota. He stopped and then did it again. Another C&D from Toyota that said he needed to be booted again and maybe the forum should be booted too. After 2 seconds of consideration by management, he and his content were tossed.

Some morned his loss, others grew weary of his drama and always saying a "newsflash" re. Gen 3 issues was just around the corner. I was in the later group.
