I have the factory 3" lift, is my fog light switch still hot?

Since my fog lights were deleted, I'm curious to know if the switch is still functional. It appears the wiring is still there behind the blank plate in the fog light location, so I'd assume so but want to know for sure before I buy new ones and need to buy a switch too. Has anyone installed fogs with the factory 3" lift? Is it just plug and play?

I have a 2015 SR . No fog lights . Do they have their own switch on models that have factory lights ? I want to install some , the wiring connection is behind the bumper already.

In the case with the 3" factory lift on the higher trims with the deleted fog lights, can anyone confirm if the wiring is present all the way to the grill? Hoping that if the wiring for the switch is there, the wiring to the grill will be as well - I haven't looked too closely behind the grill yet.

I have read that the wires are attached to the "foglight filler plates" where the fog lights go... or used to be in the case of the 3" lift.

Thanks. I did notice the turn signal stalk has the dial for turning the fogs lights on / off - and mine were "on". Now to order the parts and find the time to take apart the front to install them.

Any updates on this? I just bought a 2025 and I am interested in reinstalling the fog lights.

The wiring is behind the fog light blank panels. The switch on the stalk works.

Anyone happen to have part numbers for the OEM fogs?

Some will make you sign an agreement if you push hard enough (not liable as a dealer when Toyota instructs them to remove them for legal reasons).

    Some will flat out refuse

In my opinion get aftermarket fogs, the OEM are useless at best. My OEM fogs are sitting in a box in my basement

Are aftermarket ones plug and play with existing wiring?

$600 for aftermarket fog lights is ridiculous. I dont give a poop how much better they work than OEM.

    Lots of stuff!
Diode SS6 Fogs are great and really easy to install. Plug and Play harness is included. You can pull off the surround without taking the whole grille apart.

Took me about 30 mins to install and aim the fogs. Took me about 5 mins to remove them and put the originals back in.

With the 3" lift, you might want to consider going to something that can be adjusted. The OE ones can't be adjusted which is why they get removed. So they don't blind on coming traffic.

I like them so I am trying to install them on the new truck! But that is proving to be a challenge!
