I like waffles better than pancakes but if I'm making a "fancy" breakfast, it's pancakes because waffles are too much work. And no, @GODZILLA, I don't use any of that boxed premixed batter crap.

 

Though I am vindicated, because pancakes and waffles are different, I'm hurt that agreeing with me is so unpalatable.

Definitely. Pancakes are a rarity. Steak and eggs, or steak with a side of bacon.

Just for that, I'm not sharing my pancake recipe (that does not have raisins btw).

 

I don't like them in pastries besides oatmeal raisin cookie varieties. By themselves, trail mix, raisin bran, raisin bread, sure. Just not in carrot cake or cinnamon rolls.

Cinnamon buns without raisins, smooth peanut butter and lagers just aren't palatable.

 

I use my grandmother's beer pancake recipe but my wife hasn't actually let me put beer in them yet.

 

So you gotta be drunk to enjoy them... explains much.

I try to stay in my lane. I accidentally strayed into the 1st Gen forum when I first got here and the next morning there was a decapitated cylinder head on my front porch with a note that said "Fuck off!" I thought I heard a backfiring truck slowly drive away...

The 3rd gens just seem to be depressed all of the time

 

The Texas 1st gens were very cool and welcoming to me when I went down there for a Merus Adventure Park camping trip...
