    I'll echo what many have already said. Get a corded sander. Buy a can of red paint with the savings, if you need it to match.

    I just saw a guy using the band file at work today, it was corded but pretty sweet. I thought it was a grinder(this one basically had a grinder body with the implement attached where a disk would normally go) he popped the belt off and it kinda looked funky to get it back on, maybe he was nervous I was watching.
