It's fine if you don't like doing fishtales. If you do like doing fishtales, it'll try to kill you.

It wasn't this one, but almost exactly like it. My front pass was pushed up against a wall and spinning while the drivers said just went on his union mandated break.

Apologies for the late reply. The 25001's I received are identical in every way to the one's I currently have on the truck with the exception of the zerk. Thus, my confusion and reaching out to SPC for clarification.

Exactly. The current ones (w/zerk) are actually fine. I'll likely continue to run them since they have very few miles on them, relatively speaking, and save the ones I recently purchased for later and add the zerk. I may sell the truck when I'm done. Not sure yet.

I swear this damn car doesn't have a tstat in it. 13 minutes warming up at 50 degrees outside.

    20241212_171838.jpg

When I run on the highway at 50 and under, the temp guage drops. If the temp isn't 100% warm, the ecu cuts out at 3500 rpm. It's weird because the intercooler is in front of the radiator, so it should be keeping warm. The mysteries continue...

I'm not sure. I'll take a look tomorrow. I wanna get it up in the air and get some under pics.

I can only run 93 in it, and there's maybe 5 stations here that have it. There's one right next to my gf's house so I'll filler up when I leave tomorrow.

Can do. It may take me a few years though.

I may need to zip tie some cardboard to the radiator or something.

Wait... So what's the other highest octane up there?

Iirc y'all's regular was 86. Ours down yonder goes 87 regular, 89 or 91 mid depending on where you go, 93 super.

An always buy a case of octane booster and keep a few bottles handy in the car for when you gotta fill up with the common man’s swill.

93, but most stations carry 91. There's a sunoco on the loop that carries race gas of varying octanes. There's one singular store(that I know of) that carries ethanol free and e85.

Got up under the truck this evening to replace the brake calipers. I noticed the drivers side was covered in gray grease. All around the CV axle, Lower Ball joint and on the back of the wheel and the rear of the wheel well. It was dry as a bone on Sunday when I replaced the Upper Ball joints and UCAs. That has to be the CV right? I checked it and there's no noticable tears and I cleaned up around it and can't find any leaks but I'm stumped on what else it could be.

The boot strap was right where it is in the first picture. Each time I've gone under there the outer boot strap has been in the same spot. I tried moving it around but it's on tight no play that I can feel.

Don't think I've ever seen a CVaxle rust clean through, but that's what it looks like, holy shite. There is no strap on there. Being held in place by hopes and dreams.
    Nice new frame.
