sounds like you may have been in Boulder lol

10-15 years ago I was sitting in a Home Depot parking lot in my old T100 with our family’s home built trailer eating lunch. Lady backs across the aisle in a brand new Subaru Outback and backs into the corner of the trailer at a 45° angle. V’s in the rear bumper and creases the tailgate slightly.

I of course feel the impact, and get out as she pulls forward about 5’. At first she was all nice and apologetic, then asks for my insurance. I told her “no need, it’s just a farm trailer and you didn’t do any damage”. That’s when she flipped, saying my trailer was hanging out of the spot and that someone’s going to have to pay for this. At that point I said, “not me, but here’s my number if you’d like to argue some more”. I took some pictures, and was just about to leave when a contractor comes over. The lady was freaking out on the phone with someone. He hands me his card and tells me if she raises a stink, give him a call, he saw the hole thing. I thanks him, take a few more pictures and head back to work.

About 2-3 hours later, Boulder PD shows up at the shop asking for me. This incredibly annoyed officer asks me if I had an incident in the HD parking lot. I replied, “oh, Subaru lady actually called you guys?” He said yes and she’s looking to file charges for leaving the scene of an accident and wants my insurance for damages to her car. I told him she hit me, here’s pictures of my truck and trailer where they were positioned when she hit me, and I hand over the contractors card. He says great, he’ll get right back with me and goes to sit in his car.

15-20 minutes later he comes over and asks to see the trailer. I take him to it, he chuckles, and asks if I’d like her insurance, he’s labeling her at fault and if needed, he can get her to provide it for repairs. We both laugh and he heads along on his merry way. Never heard another thing about it but boy was the Boulder entitlement strong that day.

Like my dad says, Boulder, it’s not a city, it’s a state of mind. 28 square miles surrounded by reality.
Here’s the truck and trailer for visual

P0130, which bank is bank 1 and is sensor 1 upstream or downstream? I'm too cheap to replace all 4.

    Nevermind, I'm a dumbass.

Got the 295\65R20 mounted today on the xsp wheels +50 offset. Its a 35 inch tire that about 11.5 wide. Rubbed a little when full lock on skid plate so i tried bending and said screw it and cut it off with a grinder just an inch or so. Rubbed on the front mud flap thingy so i took it off and it rubs in reverse a little on the front bumper plastic. I might get some bumper shims or try to bend in that plastic. Flat ground i am 1\4 inch away from the sway bar and have a small spot i rubbed it during some turning on a little hill but im not worried about it.

It really beefed up the truck look, and to me looks like an actual truck now. really happy with how it turned out. Have a small amount of Poke which is what i wanted cause i dont want a ton of paint chips lol

this was my first time with a surf rod. My boat trailer needs some work but I wanted to go fishing so picked up a couple of surf rods the other day. Never been and had noidea what I was doing. But… I did catch a dozen or so smallish whiting and a couple of white trout.

overall the day was a win. Had it all to myself. Caught a few fish and then finished the day driving several miles of beach seeing only a few other vehicles.

wow, 2inch and you fit 35s? Do you think bumper shims would fix all your rubbing issues?

It would but im actually just gonna do what this user did here https://www.tundras.com/threads/trimming-front-bumper-liner-and-mudflaps.63755/

I already have the plastic off as i type this just coming back inside to reference his post again for the cutting.

And its all about the offset for tires. I did hours and hours of research on what tires i could fit, went through hundreds of threads and finally found someone else who fit 35s on a +50 offset with minimal trimming\modification. Each tire is also kinda different so it maybe different but i didnt want 33s on a 20 inch wheel. I didnt orginally want 20s i wanted 18s but i got a good deal on these wheels so i took them

I just picked up the oem console safe for my ‘21 Tundra. Prob wont be here for another couple of days. Install seems pretty straight forward. More to come.

In my never ending quest to try to organize the random equipment I carry for no reason other than my mental health/gymnastics, I got my shovel mounted on the new cargo divider I picked up off Facebook marketplace. I ordered deck rail T-nuts and Scosche universal clamps hoping to mount the shovel to the bed front deck rail but the softopper prevents that unfortunately. So, I scrounged around in our massive bolt supply at work, and found two M8x1.25 35mm stainless bolts that fit perfectly into the channel on the bed divider. A couple nuts and washers and bobs your uncle, the shovel is secure. I need to do something similar for the traction boards as they are currently pinned between my equipment bins and the front of the bed, unsecured, which I’d obviously like to change. I also have a factory 3’ J-hook for Toyota spare tires that I’m going to get a conduit strap and try to secure it to the bed divider.
