I tried heat and penetrating oil and a hammer. A couple rounds of each. No luck and so then I drilled into it in hopes the heat and thinning it out would help. Then used a larger Allen head socket. Still no luck. Sadly I don’t have a welder so I’m gonna try one of these which should do it.

If that doesn’t work, I’d try the cold chisel method of rotating the plug loose in the counterclockwise direction.

This poor truck looks worse everytime I walk by it. I actually tried to buy it from the kid's grandpa, like 4 years ago. But he wouldn't sell it, because he was giving it to his grandson. It was pristine 4 years ago. Every now and then I'll see the kid outside and I'll give him advise.

Bought this one last year when I got the truck and have been using it with no issues. I have the locking tip and also just a straight tip I ground down to fit in tight spots. Worked well so far.

Tried the new wheels on to confirm no interference with calipers, etc. And measured everything pre lift for science. Pumped to get the tires on these!!!

When you dont have a bumper, you pay a little more attention to the road & shoulders.

    That would hurt.

I believe it's just a marketing gimmick. When you consider how many drivers aren't paying attention to the road, but rather something else, it wouldn't matter if there was a lighthouse up front. Safety and good driving habits begin with...drivers?

My perception may be incorrect, but it seems that nowadays many peoples mentality is that it's others responsibility to look out for them and their safety. I disagree. Responsibility begins with the individual.

Nobody is paying attention. If they arent checked-out & relying on muscle memory, they're fiddling with their phone.

strobe the light cannons & they'll wake up.

also, leave enough room in front of yourself at stoplights, so you can roll forward & see if they'll bump the car in front of em.

Yes, that's my point. Many drivers (who by the very fact that they have chosen to get behind the wheel, proves they are willing to assume responsibility) are checked-out and preoccupied (especially with phones, and, more often than not, it's women) with other things than the responsibility they assumed. I certainly don't want to hurt anyone, so I do my best to be responsible, but I'm also not naive, I see that I have to be on defense. I see it especially when I'm on a bike. It's scary and risky AF, and no ultra-brightness of lighting can save someone from their sheer stupidity or low i.q.

Motorcycles ruined me. I cant help but pay attention to everything & everyone. It's bad enough that i'm kinda scared when my family members have to drive anywhere, especially the grandparents (not that they SHOULD be driving, because old folks are the worst.)

Sirfive for president 2028, all vehicles will get paintball guns to mark the bad drivers.

    Lol. You are too kind.

Pretty similar to what I've said before. You simply have to ride or drive as if you are invisible to others. It's the only way. Not a guarantee, but it is the safest and less-risky mentality to be on the road with.

'Crazy' lol. Sometimes, you just gotta burn some folks. If the spun truck has been hauling ass all day, i'd let him in; but if i've gotta pass him on the right, so i dont have to be stuck behind his speed-matching, he's not going to have a good time. The radar cruise folks are notorious. A blinker will usually work at night, but daytime drivers are oblivious. They just have no clue why some jackass in a black truck makes the rest of their trip difficult.

Was that video from the I-30 crossing Lake Ray Hubbard? Didn't notice. There's a lot of crazy, irresponsible shit that happens on that stretch.

On 2nd look, it looks more like FLA. Could be incorrect, though.

I dont know, but everyone in that clip gets what they deserve. No blinker = no snack.

one of the major benefits of not having a bumper is that i dont look like i have insurance & that really does affect someones decision to cut me off. I pretty much always get the right-of-way at 4-way stops.

When I have to walk on a busy main road I always walk against traffic so I can make eye contact with the oncoming drivers. I have observed that exactly no one is actually looking out the front of their vehicle as they drive! There's an Interstate Hwy nearby (I don't know why it's an Interstate - it's 17.68 miles long) that hosts a fatal accident weekly (often several in a week). I used to frequently drive I-95 through VA and NC, and cannot recall a single trip where I did not see a fiery crash along the way! I eventually altered my route to reduce the odds of me being in the fiery crash. The NTSB must have numbers for all of this. I can't believe that "distracted driving" events haven't doubled or tripled in the last ~ 17 years (The iPhone was introduced in 2007).
