Maybe when I buy a house with a garage I’ll get one of these Mishimoto oil catch pans I can hand pump into a separate container. Lifetime guarantee.

Anyone want these yellow fogs? Plug-and-play option. They'll come preloaded with new halogens. You pay the ride and they're yours.

Hey quick question does anyone have thread for rear wheel bearing part numbers? I plan to do seals as well but I’m not 100% what else I will need. Thank you

Wow. They’ve got a new term for people like me who badge into work in the morning, get their coffee, hit a meeting or two, socialize with a few coworkers and leave at lunch to finish out the day at home working online.

It’s now called “coffee badging”. Who knew it was a trend? :pccoffee:

This is what I used, double check with your VIN when you order. You might not need everything I listed here, but I needed a tone ring and retainers because mine were damaged.
    • 90363-40068 - BEARING, RADIAL BALL (x2)
    • 42423-20010 - RETAINER, RR AXLE BE (x4)
    • 90301-88077 - RING, O (x2)
    • 90520-36045 - RING, SHAFT SNAP (x2)
    • 43517-35010 - ROTOR, SKID CONTROL (x2) - Tone Ring
    • 90313-54001 - SEAL, TYPE K OIL (x2) - Outer Axle Seal
    • 90310-50006 - SEAL, TYPE S OIL (x2) - Inner Axle Seal *recommend to order a few extras in case they're damaged during install

Might have to change my title. Looks like a good day to quit kicking this can.

    IMG_8903.jpg

big eff. We didnt freeze last night, and this is a bigger drip than normal. Think it might be the water pump.

    not the usual suspect.
    IMG_8905.jpg

Got wetness in the valley of the block, dripping off the a/c compressor, and off the bellhousing.

    front drip, and rear drip.
    IMG_8910.jpg

Why is the #5 exhaust flange wet?
    IMG_8911.jpg

damp on the back side of the oil pan, too.
    IMG_8907.jpg

might be getting myself worked up over nothing. Got wet spots under the rad & t-stat worm clamps (no clue who replaced the spring clamps) warming it up now, to see if i can find an active drip. Front of the engine is dry, and rear coolant crossover looks dry from above. No bubbles in the coolant...

Drove up to Madisonville to meet Mamba at the Buccee's to trade my old LSD for some headlights. I left about ten mins later than I planned and got here about 30 mins earlier than expected. Racetrucks gotta race...
Got like 18mpg. Found out I hit 3k rpm at about 85mph, speedo says 90.
I think my oil pressure gauge started working again.

That looks more like oil to me. Like your VC gaskets are leaking.

I know about the vc gaskets. But the coolant is what i'm focusing on today. You can see coolant on the front diff bracket in the last pic & on the crossmember in the 2nd pic.

New struts, plugs, O2 sensors, and snow tires for the daughters Sebring.

The DeWalt big chungus impact made the struts a breeze, I'd still be fighting with the pinch bolts if I was doing it by hand.

I can't even see the rear O2 sensors so that'll be fun.

That doesn’t work since an oil change is 1+2/5 of a 5 quart jug. Too expensive to buy the individual quarts.

Im really starting to despise UPS now. Signed up for their premium service to have a package held at a customer service facility.

Apparently not and option as of Dec 1st with no return date.

Tried delaying a delivery date from Wednesday to today.

Request accepted. No package delivered. Seems it’s because my local office isn’t open today for delivery.

Delivery has now defaulted to Monday when I’m not here. :annoyed:

I have the 16 qt flo-tool drain pan. The drain plug doesn’t hold tight and the vent refuses to stay closed. I guess I shouldn’t expect much. For ten bucks.

For me, the cap and drain plug are a bit squirrely The cap tightens but will keep spinning if you push it too hard. The drain plug has a similar sweet spot on it.

The real winner is this one, yellow cap but a bit small which I'm pretty sure I got from Summit Racing, directly at the McDonough store when it first opened. It's made by a company "Scepter", based out of Canada. I checked their website, it doesn't appear to be made anymore. It's stout as hell, very thick walled. They do have a similar product, a 12-quart with a green cap and a large green cap on the side opening. I wonder if it's equally good?
