I prefer those carts to the wheeled XL with the handle. With the cover on my truck the handtruck handles don't work and the box is weird inside because of the indents for the wheels. And I'm usually carrying the boxes up stairs at some point.
Once I am on a flat floor, though, I can click a stack into that dolly and roll them around where I want.

I should have pulled the trigger when I first saw it and there were 45 available - unfortunately went to the gym and lost out.

The app shows 45 of these available right now (a minute ago there were 46 ;) )
Not $99, but I can always cancel or return it.

edit: cancelled. I’ll hold out for a better deal than $169.

I’ve held off on getting one since it’s a full rotary and not a dual action. Pretty easy to wreck your paint with a rotary. When they were getting ready to release it I complained about it and they’d never heard of the difference. :notsure:

That’s a cheap one, I usually see the kits going for 4k. It’s probably because it’s hardened/heat treated metal and the gun actuator puts out a high torque to make the press

You think it’s cheaper to just buy the press from Milwaukee and then pickup the rigid c1 adapters? Went down a rabbit hole a couple weeks when I first posted about the press and their cross-compatibility with rigid was a relatively big hit on the YouTube shorts :notsure:

Ordered a new 7-1/4" circular saw to replace my 18+ year old V18 6-1/2" Milwaukee that has been struggling. going to return the battery so the tool will only be $140. I have 8 M18 batteries already, 4 of which are hi-output. picked up 2 more of the small parts organizers while they are on sale.

That one is actually a dual action and not a rotary . They sell two DA’s one with a 15mm throw and one with 21mm throw both work great

Which way to take this question :D

Also, heated floors aren’t a thing in CA. Never been in a single house out here that has them. Not one; which is pretty wild to me. Nibbling at the idea of starting a new trend..

    Do heated floors use copper?
I could see the crimp ring or expander tool more useful if that’s the direction your headed

Usually it’s (I believe) pex under wood floors and electrical under stone. Could be wrong though. Parents had it done at their last house and they converted the old jacuzzis electrical into the heating element’s electrical feed. Was amazing.

I do know of at least one old home back east (more like a camp) that has copper.

Heated floors usually consist of pex set in epoxy or the self leveling slurry
Heated driveways and sidewalks same just pex in concrete sometimes secured to reinforcement screen

Personally - I’d learn how to sweat. Fittings are much cheaper and it’s not that hard to do. We use press at work only for places where doing hot work is an issue - like inside an operating microchip plant or hospital. And even then, it’s only for the single fitting being used for the field joint - the rest is sweat in our fab shop.

I wouldn’t do it in copper at this point…unless you’re made of money, but even then I can think of better ways to spend it.
and never embed copper directly in concrete.

Our neighbor got taken for a ride a few years ago when their main water service was replaced: 3 weeks of temp service in pex across the yard, then had two “plumbers” run a 1” soft copper for the permanent run…… like what?!?

Underground on the permanent run? As long as it is Type K and wrapped in 20mil pipe wrap then it’s fine - my well service to the house is run that way and it eliminated any joints underground except directly at the well head. But Type K “soft” is still some very hard shit to run. Shouldn’t take 3 weeks for that though

I thought that was a shed and was like, oh cute, easy to just hook it up and run away with it.
Looking closer, it is a damn trailer..... I wonder how much insurance would be for that trailer alone.....
