Yes, this... Had Linex in a prior Tundra, and while basic, still exceeded expectations. Just make sure the installer/dealer is experienced as a sloppy install can ruin an otherwise stellar product.

Still not convinced this was worth the price, but it definitely saves your knees from a lot of pain! :)

Removed the “Tundra” and “Limited” emblems. What a pita. Its usually a few minute job but this time it needed more then heat. Had to compound and polish the area after too. I guess its a reason to polish the entire truck on the weekend.

I installed a Carlinkit to enable YouTube functionality, but I’m not impressed. The device lags significantly and gets extremely hot during use. I even purchased the most expensive version, but the performance is disappointing. It can handle YouTube at 360p, but anything at 720p or higher causes it to overheat and glitch, making it nearly unusable for higher-quality streaming.

Those look great! i threw on the same ones in hopes they would be functional but also not take away from the overall truck. really happy with them so far.

    Bone stock (for now)
This was my goal too. I needed something to make it easier for my wife to get into the passenger seat as well as somewhere to stand while putting a kid in a car seat. It would be a little easier if they were fatter but I wanted to stay away from the boards that looked too fat because I have to deal with a few tight parking garages on a regular basis. I think these were the best commination of form and function for me.

sorry just getting around to this. Despite what I was told, lowering the spare did not help get the oe pipe over the axle, I tried for about an hour. I then had a seconds attempt and drive the rear passenger tire up on a ramp, and had the spare completely on the ground. This did not give me enough flex, I tried everything for about an hour. I then just simply cut the oe pipe since I wasn’t going to spend another hour in 30 degrees trying to wiggle the axle back over the axle. As for sound, I didn’t notice anything at all to be honest. I did it mainly for looks since I don’t like the look of the raw metal exhaust from the factory.

Appreciate you sharing your experience. Think I’ll just cut the stock exhaust as well and save myself a ton of hassle.

Yeah it was stupid. I lost several 10mm sockets. I ended up buying a small socket set so that it could fit. Still though, it's better than the afe one, and it's harder because you replace the entire tube on the s&b verses just the top part on the afe.

    Nitrogen filled tires!
Changed the battery in my FOB. The one received at purchase (not the second one received 3 months later) almost 18 months of use. I'd say the Panosonic batteries are old and or sub-quality. Oh well. Replaced with Duracel and moving on!

    I did a thing….

I didn’t like the hybrid storage options like molle or over well swing out…. So I found this metal bracket off Amazon and I think this setup is gonna do the trick IMG_5478.jpg IMG_5479.jpg IMG_5483.jpg IMG_5486.jpg

Took advantage of 40F+ degree temps in December and did an oil and filter change in the driveway.
Rhino ramps, Fumoto valve, MotivX Tools filter socket and funnel for the win. Easy-Peasy.
5K mile interval, 10K on the truck now.
Sending another sample off to Blackstone but not too worked up about it.
Cut the filter open; absolutely nothing to see here, move along.

One year anniversary with the truck on 12/26!
One year anniversary on Tundras.com on 12/27!

One step closer to making my own TrailHunter Tundra, since they didn't release it, turning my 2024 Platinum into one. Installed new bed rack today Amazon knock off since I emailed ARB and they aren't making one for the Tundra like they do the Taco.

Sincerely, what’s the functional purpose of the rack? They look cool because they make it look like a trophy truck-ish, but is that it?

Yep, looks and light bar mounts, without drilling into truck. You could also mount things to the molly panels if off-roading like a small shovel or those spare gas cans or water cans, etc. I just loved the look of it on the Tacoma Trailhunter, if it had about 6” more space in back seats and the power rear glass, would have bought one, but the new Tacoma doesn’t have any more interior backseat room than my FJ Cruiser, so went with Tundra a larger Tacoma, and building my on Trailhunter tribute version. Some bed racks/ roll bars offer structural enhancement or protection, but this one is for aesthetics for me, I have SxS and FJ for off roading, not taking a$78k truck where I take them, it only sees dirt roads farm land off roading. Just like the look and feel of it driving it always puts a smile on the face, lol.

It's the cooler, modern 4X4 version of this:
    LUND Racerback.jpg

You couldn't swing a dead cat in 1988-1994 without hitting one of these things.
Pretty sure ZERO functional purpose on those....but I had one on my '89 GMC.
