I certainly did not need it BUT the buy $400 of packout get $150 off is a nice discount (if you manage the product prices). So, I got a few things that I wanted/needed to mount in the back of the truck.

Amen. Or shred them on social media when your feelings are hurt because they didn’t honor your inability to read the label for yourself. Words ARE hard, after all. We can’t expect everybody to to know how to read good, or math gooder, or do other things good, too. If only we had the Derek Zoolander Center for Kids…

OK was playing with the rivnuts again and found back peg board on the Milwaukee tool boxes are spaced perfectly and almost perfectly sized. Definitely going to play with placement but liking getting them up out of the way.

51% savings - not too shabby!

Ya, I need to quit looking at the forum. My wallet hurts. On the plus side, my smiles per gallon improved exponentially!

I spent hours trying to combine "main tool - free tool" combos for the tools I needed/wanted. I kept ending up with a loose end without any purchase discount or benefits so I removed them from the cart. I want to add a blower and the jigsaw (both had "get tool free" options but neither "main tool" options were things I needed or the things I needed/wanted were out of stock. Otherwise thing purchase would have killed me even worse than it did already! Lol

Anyone run a pack out system in their truck bed? Seeing lots of options and pictures online but worried about how stable it is when it’s actually locked in place. Really need to get a trail toolkit out of the cab lol

    Yes.

But... I use a bed slide and a camper shell so I can access the pack outs at the back, but keep everything out of the weather (and away from sticky fingers..). I have one or two stacks for which I'm thinking about installing a floor plate. If stacked correctly, they are quite stable. I've been able to knock over the rearmost stack (now full height) on heavy super-charged-throttle stabs from a stop, as well as the heavy single stack in the front from taking a right hand turn too abruptly. Else, they ride back there 24/7.

Pic of the setup; the passenger side stacks are based off of the large rolling tool chest. It rarely comes out of the bed, but has room for longer items like m12 rocket lights and bulkier tools. The two drawers closest to the tailgate will get re-integrated elsewhere, and one of my projects is to work out a mount for the saws so I can put a few more packouts below them.

Problem is, their shelf labels clearly state the SKU that the price is for - there’s nothing ambiguous about it. They don’t control what asshat might put something on the wrong shelf when they are shopping and decide they don’t want something.
