I hate car washes. My guess it would depend on the car wash.

Routine truck service at the dealer? Mmmm. NOPE.

Routine truck washing at the local automatic car wash? Mmmm. NOPE.

Truck wash by local high school senior girls, by hand, for a graduation fundraiser, who all got saline implants for graduation? HELL TO THE YES!

Staying in the truck is important for proper value of funds expended.

My carwash has 7'2" clearance. My truck fits fine with the 3" lift on 35's.

Usually, yes pending tire size. 35" and under hash worked. I despise any automated car washes though

OP didn't ask if anyone likes carwashes, the man asked if the truck would fit.

I don't much like those either more so now that I actually have my personal truck that's not a work truck. Yet, takes to long to wash myself. (Powerwasher next at somepoint)
My truck fit in with 1.5" riding on 37x12.5x20. I get more scared driving into parking garages.

I hated washing mine (3" on 35"s). Took me around 3+ hours each time to wash it..hence why I never drove it lol

Time is my exact problem. I work over 60 hours a week, across 6 days most weeks. Any day I’m not on site, I’m on call. My truck is mostly personal with some work use. If I didn’t use drive through car washes, I would never get around to it.

I feel your pain. That's why the second best thing to do is find a great mobile detailer you trust to come by periodically to ice down the whip(s).

Thank you for this information. I only buy silver anymore because I am 60 years old. I used to buy black and hand washed them every time. I have a silver one now and I go through the carwash all the time and you can't see the scratches. Their there, but you can't see them.

Yea, I have a MGM and you can't see them either. Truck looks as good as the day I bought it.

Well, if anyone can see the minute scratches on mine, they have their nose against it and need to step back.

Might as well take some sandpaper to the paint

If you're making that kind of coin....hire a neighbors kid to wash it every Friday. Auto carwashes are just destroying your paint

I hand wash most of the time but when there is a need for a quick spray down, I run through one local to me (and to answer to OPs question, they do fit most of the auto washes). The key to auto washes is finding a good one that is brushless. I have never had a paint issue with the brushless places

Yeah right. Like some neighbor's kid is going to put tender, loving care into washing some old man's truck....sheesh.....when he drops the rag on the ground, wipes the dirt from the wheelwells and then wipes it across the hood, etc.? To me, that's worse than running it through a modern car wash designed for the sole purpose of cleaning vehicles.

I've owned this truck for a year now and have run it through a carwash almost weekly since I purchased it....it still looks amazing. I have done the same with every vehicle I've owned and they all looked great also. I've never had an instance where someone said "Ewww, look at all those scratches!". I've gotten top dollar on resale for all of them. Maybe it's my paint color choices - I don't know. What I do know is, I will continue what I've been doing.
