I’d take one off your hands if you have an extra 18/12. Lemme know how much. Would be nice to keep one in the truck for on-the-go charging. Still debating if I want to hard mount it next to the inverter or keep it modular so I can take it with me if needed

I'm using the ones I got already. Next time I get a combo deal, you can have the charger!

Can I ask a question here about batteries and the inverter? I have a portable inverter than I have always run off deep cycle marine lead acid batteries. I keep it in my truck but I remove (the kit) to use as an alternate to the generator if there is a power failure. I need to add a battery ths year.
Are these Chinese Lithium batteries really what they claim . Any experience/thoughts on them ?

I’m pretty sure I have an extra m18/m12charger kicking around. Prolly not be a rapid charger but I’d be happy to send it your way. I’m sure I have a plethora of m12 chargers that have never been plugged in. PM me and I’ll go dig through the stash.

I line them up on the back of my workbench and choose one at random when I need to charge a battery.

Does red make a 12v charger? I have a 12v charger that plugs in to the cig lighter for my 20v DeWalt stuff

They do - or did - but it’s stupid expensive and I’ve never seen one in the wild. Much cheaper to just get an inverter. IIRC, a 300 watt inverter is good enough for a rapid charger, 150 good enough for a regular charger.

These are fantastic and only surpassed by the Knipex I own which punch well above their weight. I've heard the Harbor Freight clones are nearly as good as Knipex but haven't tried them.

Don't you folks have the Milwaukee Super Charger? At least for the Forge batteries the charge time is greatly reduced.

Yep. But the dirtbags neglected to mention that it was a sequential supercharger, not a simultaneous supercharger so I have to wait longer for my batteries to charge, forcing me to purchase even more tools with free batteries!

I haven’t had any problems with my lithium battery. Has been in my truck crossbred toolbox for years now running my 12v fridge 24/7. I have an inverter that’s able to run a coffee maker but tops out at about 1000w due to losses. My battery has a max discharge of 100a so my 1200w inverter would pretty much need zero loss to hit that which will never happen.

and Will’s reviews are spot on. I followed them religiously when I started building out my system. If he says something is good it’s good. If he says it’s junk then don’t bother.

Update - returned the $209 deal of mid-torque with battery. Super easy and did not even need receipt. They got the information from the shipping box label. Ordered the Mid-Torque with battery and charger for $189 on the pro deal of the week at a cost of $20 less. Decided not to get the combo with the 15mm polisher as the financial controller is more suspicious of $400 transactions than $200 ones. Already believes there is no need for new tools! And, the M18 Hatchet arrived today.

    Thanks.
A real revelation happening for Lithium batteries and inverters. I picked up an Energizer branded 3000 watt inverter made by Powerbright over the holidays. Sold by Bestbuy through Techcity online. $249.00 Cdn. Thats lower than the US price. Reg. price $500-600 here. I will watch what happens with the pricing on 12volt 100ah batteries. See if I can time a deal with the Spring boating season 8^).

What @Cfincke - old 28volt Milwaukee tools. IIRC, those were “contractor grade” tools so lost homeowners wouldn’t have had them in the collection. Then they went from the V18 to M18 and now here we are - Milwaukee Tool-Mongers Anonymous…
