    Is this a concern? I’m restoring my 25 year old Tundra. Currently have the interior gutted, replacing carpet and doing deep cleaning with new audio. I’ve seen this rust for a long time but wondering if it’s any issue in this location. The under carriage/frame is completely rust free.

    It's most likely from jumping into your truck with wet Salty boots, it then attacks unprotected bare metal by the process of evaporation.

    That's nothing to worry about. Very mild surface rust after 25 years. I saw a little on mine when I replaced the stereo. Practically wipes off with a finger.

    Probably, but I’m not going to take my entire dash out to do it. No way I can get every bit of it anyway! Lol

    I had a couple leaks that I’ve fixed so it shouldn’t progress much now that I’ve got the humidity under control.
