Thanks, I was able to mount the second battery and the DC to DC charger under the rear seat on the passenger side. I routed the wires out of the cab on the rear passenger side.

Any pics? Would love to see how you routed the wires for the compressor in the bed as well. Love the setup!

I had the Truck Shop in San Diego install it when they did the suspension install. I installed a front and rear bumper on my 4Runner but this looked a bit more challenging so I had them do it. Luckily, they had just installed their first one a week before so they were able to make quick work out of it.

What did they charge if you don't sharing? I'm like you. I don't feel like taking that challenge. I'll end up going to the store multiple time for tool I don't have.

Here are a few pics, I drew some arrows to indicate where the wiring came in/out.
8 AWG wire from the starter battery was run through the firewall and underneath the trim at the foot of the doors. I was able to run the wire underneath the outer bottom seat trim in the rear and I drilled through the plastic to run it underneath the rear seat (see arrow).

    wiring 5.jpg

Picture of the full set up underneath the rear seat. There are a few breakers, a renogy 30 AMP DC to DC charger and a fuse block for the lights and fridge power in the bed. I have my aircompressor run directly to the battery with it's inline fuse. The battery is able to accomodate the power draw of the compressor.
    wiring 2.jpg

The wiring from the fuse block and the air compressor goes through the the rear plastic trim and out of the grommet in the rear passenger side of the truck.
    wiring 4.jpg

    wiring 3.jpg

I drilled a small hole in the bed of the truck to bring the wiring of the aircompressor through. The remainder of the wires goes underneath the truck and into a hole that I cut for my switch panel.

Thanks for the extra pics and explanation, setup is sweet! If you don't mind ill bother you with another question, how to you have the aux lights wired? Did you run the wires along the underside of the truck and then come up and into the backseat area same place you went out to the compressor? Looks like there is a switch controller in the center console as well, how'd you go about wiring that in, looks like a very clean install.

Sweet rig! Are you in North County SD? Feel like I’ve may have spotted the rig around town. How’re you liking the sliders? Looking to grab a pair

My aux lights are wired to an Auxbeam switch that it mounted in the center console. I have that run through the firewall to my starter battery. My secondary battery runs my compressor, USB chargers and Anderson plug for my fridge in the bed and the rocker panels in the bed. For now, I only have some bedlights hooked up to the rocker panel in the bed of the truck. The lights are LED strip lights that use double sided tape to adhere to the bottom of the bed rails. They provide excellent lighting for the bed while camping, I really like how they came out.

I am in North County, give me a honk the next time we cross paths! I like the sliders, they work as excellent steps for my kids and wife. I would prefer something that hugs the side of the truck a little closer but that would make getting in and out hard for some. I think that they are great sliders and look good though.

Unfortunatley, I don't know anything close by :( I feel like we have crossed paths in the mornings near Leucadia and Garden View. I usually don't miss too many bulit out rigs that I pass!
