Heritage grill OEM overlay

My build was equipped with front OEM emblem overlay in black.
Can’t find any pictures online of mud bath. I believe I found the part number today.

Yes! I’m aware you can find a $17.99 Etsy vinyl but OEM completely covers the silver letters.

Thanks OP! I’m going to take a shot at the black. Tried the vinyl route and removed it after the first two letters because I didn’t care for silver outline.

Ordered from my go-to dealer for parts - Fred Anderson Toyota for $151.51 shipped. Will update with before and after pics once they come in.

I TOTALLY agree, I worked 40 years on the West Coast, hardly ever had to deal with this 'proprietary part BS', now it's 24/7 and I hate it, I put in my 45 years, I am done (soon)

Definitely interested in seeing the bronze - thinking it would really pop on my MGM but would want to see it

 

Just a follow up - my overlay order came in today. I ordered PT948-35251-02, but looks like this is actually for the Tacoma and the letters are too small. Have a message out to the dealership to see if they can provide me with the correct number for the Tundra.

I tried to find PT948-35253-02 from above, but striking out finding it anywhere.

 

Did they change the part numbers?

 

35251 is for the Tacoma & 4Runner.
35253 is for the Tundra & Sequoia.

 

Ok got it. Hopefully the dealer can order it for me because I can’t get that to show up in any part number search.

 

Anyone add them yet?
