    Gents,

This is a notice that we're trying to get together a group buy for "custom sized" FN Wheels. We've talked with Dustin and it's "a go" if we can get the #'s together.

This is NOT a typical group for the purposes to get a discount...this is a group buy to get enough interest for a slightly different run of the FN wheels. A wider more aggressive custom set of wheels but in the excellent FN FX Pro style (the TRD looking wheel).

Ever notice if you want to run wider tires, there are a limited amount of wheel sizes? Typically there are 8-9" size wheels in the 17 & 18" diameters but there are not a lot of 9.5" widths to help run fatter tires. FN Wheels will make that size for us and here are the details ...

FN Wheels FX Pro wheels with custom specs:

    Flow-Formed in a GLOSS black
    Diameter:
    18"
    Width: 9.5"
    Offset: +12
    Bolt Pattern: 5x150
    Wheel Weight: ~ 26-28 lbs.

These will work with Tundra, Land Cruiser 200's and LX570 models. The purpose of this post is to just generate the interest for those of us who want a wider wheel in an OEM flavor/styling.

Go visit this link to see the wheels and all the great reviews about FN Wheels on this FORUM (including how great the product is, the finishes, the packaging, even how great Dustin is to work with as one of our small'ish Vendors).

Support a small vendor, get a wider wheel and aggressive stance, get a unique look...at the SAME price as their standard wheels.

We need 10 buyers...there are 2 of us interested from the iH8 forum interested. Users (and moderators)... pls repost accordingly.

The only thing I would be worried about is poke. With a 9.5 with rim and +12 offset how much will it stick out? I ask because I just ordered rims that stuck out about 2 inches vs the 1 inch I had and the difference was alot. With that extra inch I was getting rocks, mud and all kinds of crap all over the side of my Truck, So I ordered some Method 318s with a +45 offset and 8.5 width and the fit inside the body now.

12 offsets will stick out 1.3” more than the 45 offsets.

Yes, these wheel + plus off set will stick out more than OEM. If you want OEM sizing, there are already plenty of options for you. The purpose of this group buy would be to specifically get a wider wheel and more aggressive offset that are both beyond the standard OEM sizing parameters.

You could try reaching out to Dustin or any of the vendors supporting Tundra and Ih8 forums. They'll help ya. ICON, Methods, Black Rhino, there are plenty of high quality wheels with OEM sizing available.

    Good luck partner.

There are actually very few aftermarket wheels with factory 60mm offset. Most are in the 0-45 range.

    That could be true.

This thread was to test the waters on pushing further from the OEM look.
