Yes, he was quite the hunter..
He had all kinds of dear, elk, and boar shoulder mounts as well as a full bobcat and turkeys in his shop.
20 or so antler mounts, it was a big shop....

Nice. I had a redhawk with a 13” barrel. It was comically long but fun to shoot.

 

I mean.. I would... lol.. but I run that route yearly and have no issues stopping to see someone of similar goals and interest.

 

Two problems: I don't have the dollars for a fun pew pew at this time, and I'm still a few hundred miles away from anything on your route.

Henry BBX 44Mag, the Ruger's are 44 as well. I bought that one a few years back, they are still expensive, but I think they've come down a bit since then.

I just wish I shot it more to get my cost per use down... It was built as a Hog gun but I've yet to get a hunt scheduled

 

I have plenty of guns I'd want to shoot a hog with, and my uncle has a ranch with plenty of hogs I can use any time I like, and I still can't get out there. Life is too busy when you have a job, kids, grandkids, wives, friends...
