The 10th cut on 7/8s had me sold and of course I didn't pay for it, so that helps. Had to cut the 3/8s with my Yellow jackets.

Nope, not opened at all. I think it was the manager of the store that was helping me. There was a least 2 associates that were there kinda going back and forth about it. Manager just ended up saying there was nothing she could do about the restocking fee. Between that and them not being able to stack the $80 off with the 40% for it, kinda bummed but eh, it's alright. I still got a pretty good savings from the 40% alone.

This lil rotary hammer is no joke. Made fairly quick work of these small trip hazards.

Yeah, just thought it was cool you could buy a case with the foam already precut to accept the M18 inflator.

I would, and do prefer the pack out mod for this. I have a case for the inflator, but the pack out can hold much more

Two new complete systems where there was nothing. one of our remote campuses is going under a major renovation and several things are being stored in a metal hanger building outside that has severe humidity issues. supervisor was asking if we could do a PTAC or some kind of mini split set up in house. I told him let’s not Mickey Mouse around with mini splits and put in two 5 ton heat pump split systems with upflow air handlers sitting on stands.

I bought those during the BF frenzy. I only need one size, but have used the hell out of it.

Would love to hear if the heat gun is worth a shit. The Dewalt one I used to have was useless - except for running batteries down.

Spent a few more OT hours today working on the van. Think I'm close. Again this van will be pulled and replaced in 2026 so everything is installed to be pulled out easily. Also waiting on ladder racks.

not the biggest fan of blends either, I wasn’t in the early 90s when 12 and 502 phased out. I’m in a weird spot. My supervisor needs me to sometimes put out some fires that the HVAC contractor is dragging ass on and spending a lot of money on refrigerant is different than my tool budget. I more or less tried to retire from 30 years of HVACR and just become a handyman, but they threw a little bit more money at me and asked me to look after the contractors that are shitty to say the least. Believe it or not several of my chillers are 134a.

Nice, pretty sure we have a few still running on 134a as well.
Shitty contractors, and project managers suck; we had one building remodeled with 15 or so package units on the roof; old setup had drop ceiling grid……. New is now open ceilings up to the roof deck. Nothing was upsized, all of the t stats were probably cut live and remounted at 3.5’ off the ground(we easily replaced 15 stats) 2 compressor change outs due to wrong direction, the one office space has two units with walls up to the roof deck and the stats are outside of that room….. but our bosses don’t have our backs to change anything let alone talk to the geniuses that decided that all was a great plan

It's not great. It's nothing like a corded one. It's great when doing heat shrink.

Sounds like the DW one then.
I’ve got a cheap ACE corded that throws a lot of heat, and I have a small detail one that’s part of my soldering station that does great at small stuff. But both are tethered to a power cord
