    :annoyed:

Ok, so here we go again... and yes, I know I assured a few of you a week or so again that I was going to be happy w/just blacking out the chrome part and leaving the gray in place, but..... I'm not :frusty:

So, when I did the console, originally I had just replaced the cup holder trim and snapped on a blackout piece of the chrome zig zag thing in the shift gate area... But, I didn't like the contrast of having the one gray piece in the console, so I ended up swapping that piece as well. Now I feel the same about the gray surrounding the Head Unit and HVAC controls...

Anyhow, my question for you folks is this.... Am I smoking dope here, or did I see a post somewhere w/someone replacing those 2 pieces w/OE parts from a different trim level/vehicle model, and if so does someone happen to have the OE part #s for those 2 pieces.... or, is my only option to use something like Meso or AJT parts???

PS>> Yes, I know I can paint them... But I hate painting, and I'm not very good at it; it's really a matter of patience... :anonymous:

Search any year SR model on a Toyota parts site and it will give you the black one.

And it’s actually just one piece.

If my notes are correct the part number is
    55405-0C020-C1

4 weeks and 3k miles ago I put spacers on and torqued the wheels on at a 100ftlbs. Dropped it off at discount today to get a rotate and balance and somehow one of the lugs is frozen and they can’t get it loose. Excuse for new wheels?

Cheaper initial investment. I prefer how they come online to a supercharger plus I have electronic boost control. Still new to the platform so not sure where the limit is quite yet. Still forced induction and tons of fun. @TurboKits has some of the best customer service I’ve experienced. Tows great.

I just got their engine skid too and it’s solid. Might jump to just getting the full set. I like how well they all integrate

Made some progress hut ran out of CLD. My initial calculation said i would have enough using 80sqft + 36sqft for all but i was wrong. Ordered another 12sqft to finish off the 2 doors left. Getting there. Hoping to get the carpet pressure wash this Sunday because temp is ok. Still not good as high are upper 50-65F everyday. I’ll have to wash it, wet vac it, then use the bissell little green machine to extract as much water as possible. It will have to dry inside the house at night. Then bring out to dry more Monday. Hopefully i can put the truck back together by the end of next Saturday.
Dynaliners are down inside, still got some small area at the transmission tunnel to cover. 2 doors are done and put back.
rear door I have to shave the foam down even. The front had to remove the top and bottom sound fabric. It was too thick and the door panel would not clip in. It kept popping out at the bottom on one of the clip. Then added some cld and dynaliner to the area where the fabric was removed. no pictures of this.

So I somewhat regularly look around me for used 2.5 gens to get an idea of how these are holding value with the new trucks out. The two closest dealers haven't had one in stock for weeks and the autotrader results for 75 miles around me only shows about 40. I bought my truck out last summer and the going sale price looked to be around 34k. Now trucks with double my milage, a few years older are showing "great price" at 37ish.

Anyone else seeing that? Just my location? Doesn't matter one way or another, but interesting the value seems to be going up.

Nice work man, that is on my to do list. I appreciate the real world measurements because I was figuring right at 115sqft too, so good to know that won’t be enough.

No problem. I end up with 8 rolls of the dynaliners 1/4”. You may need 9 or 10 rolls if you dont have the moonroof. 1 roll is enough to cover 2 doors. Cut it in half. 1 for the back wall. 1 for roof (moonroof), 3.5-4 for the floor. On the door shell, i did not cld the lowest section of the door due to lack of room. Can’t get my arm in there to apply the cld let alone roll it. So i only cover from the roll bar and up.
