Obviously they have expanded the color offerings for the Pro; but it seems like they might have increased the production numbers as well? In the past year, people were having to wait weeks (or months) to get a chance at a bidding war for a TRD Pro...

They deleted the black and the inferno and substituted magnetic gray metallic and quicksand. The white carried over into 16 also. My understanding is that 3500 will be produced for 2016. Don't know if my dealership is correct but they told me 300 MGM will be built this year. I ordered mine in July and it started the build process on September 1st. It hit the port first week of October. My buddy tried to get one in any color and he was told nothing currently showing as coming into the northeastern seaboard so he ordered a limited.

Thx! I am ecstatic with this color like you and really happy I went with it. White was a close second. The one thing I don't understand is the build sheet called for 10 way adjustable leather trimmed and heated seats but they are not heated. Don't know if that option was deleted or they just screwed up and didn't build my truck with it. Either way it's a keeper.

Yea Im looking at the pro comp ss kit, cheaper and from reading alot through this site pro comp seems to be a reliable choice. I dont want a full lift, 3 inch max for me, spacers seems like bad news so shocks are my choice.

What was used for the fender flares and bottom trim? Vinyl, paint, plastidip or bed liner?

It is a factory option in the South East. Not sure about other locations. Black Textured Fender Flares w/Cladding is what they call it.

    http://southeast.buyatoyota.com/tundra/build#AccessoriesTab

I actually found the truck on the lot with all the options on it already installed.

Their prices are high on most items there
    Two-Tone Black Textured Fender Flares w/Cladding - $779 MSRP

Doesn't give details as to what materials were used. Guessing painted flairs and vinyl on the truck?

The flares and cladding are the same material. Plastic or vinyl. The flares seem to be attached better and have a rubber gasket were it meets the paint. The cladding not so much. It is just held on with the foam type auto adhesive. There is space for dirt to get back there, gonna have to stay on top of it and keep it clean. Had I ordered the truck it isn't something I would have added. I was just happy to find one close on the lot that wasn't spoken for.

Anyone running a 35x12.50 on their Pro? I know 295-70 are what most people run on stock pro with front flaps removed.
Looking to run this setup with aftermarket Fiberglass over fenders and a n-fab RSP bumper.
Rims would be on the FN BFD 18x9 +12 offset.

I assume some trimming to the skid would be needed.

I currently run a 285/70R17 with a 50mm off set and 1.25" spacers. I too am considering 35's so I took some measurements. The first hurdle is the front bumper, even with the plastics removed there is only about 1/2" clearance, so remove the bumper that should go away. The second hurdle will be the Cab Mount, this is exposed when you remove the plastics on the back side of the front fender, I have a little under 1" clearance till I hit that, so that would need to be trimmed also. 35's are about 2.3" taller than the 285's I have on, so that is a little over 1" dia increase on both side of the tire, which would equal rubbing in both locations for me. As far as the skid plate, I don't even come close to rubbing on that, maybe because of the 1.25" spacers, or maybe the TRD Pro skid plate is a little different than the non Pro skid plate? All these measurements were with the truck standing still obviously, so keep that in mind. Would love to pics when all your plans are done, I'm liking the Pre-Runner look you are going for.

    Great info! Thanks. @Stelly
By the rough measurements you have the 35s should be snug under the front with rsp bumper+over fenders. at 12.50 width(about 1.4" on a 285) I am also worried about grazing the UCA's, so aftermarket UCA will be on the order as well.
I didn't even consider the cab mount for the 35's :frusty:
So that being considered at full compress in the rear would definitely touch that cab mount and rear fender(rear over fenders would be nice too but no more PRO stamp). Might also have to consider a Coachbuilder kit with the 35's;but my main goal is to retain my Pro suspension(with an aftermarket UCA) as much as possible and run 35's.
I believe the Baja Pro ran your Rock Warrior wheels on 35's (correct me if I am wrong)
So been digging into that setup as well.

Just to be clear, when I spoke about the cab mount, by rear I meant front suspension towards the rear. I did not look at any rear clearance issue. Yes the BAJA Pro ran Rock Warrior wheels on 35's, but that suspension on that truck was a very modified version of the Pro suspension. In fact if you watch the videos you will notice that the base truck they started with was not a TRD Pro, they changed the rear bed panels for the badging. They also ran a custom front bumper that had all the guts emptied, and all the protection hidden behind it, so it looked close to stock. Like running the N-fab RSP bumper, but behind the stock bumper, but all custom fab of course.

Right on. Ok I thought you meant cab mount as in the rear portion of the frame. thanks for clearing that up..
Gonna do more measurements.. but a 34x12.5 is looking like another great option. close to a 295/70 just with a bigger footprint.

Here is my 2016 PRO slowly adding parts to it and loving the first 2 weeks so far. I just installed my Amp-research steps/OEM bed liner/weathertech mats. Retrax PRO MX bed cover on the way along with my GTR LED lighting for the Headlights Gen2/FOG Level2/Reverse Level2/Interior/Cargo/Third brake/license plate. It's fun to spend the time installing stuff at home. I want to get some Nitto Trail Grappler M/T's in 295/70/18 on stocks.IMG_1969.jpg
