Added some 5100s up front this weekend. Middle setting with 1 shim on either side. Almost 2” exact.

Decided to de-badge the truck and then detailed the crap out of it. Polish, glaze, wax, gloss/sealant. Just need to get all black rims and I will finally be rid of all the chrome.

Did two things to it today

Added inserts to the tailgate to match the bed side

And wrapped the blinding cup holder bezel.

Thanks! Definitely took some time to do the whole truck, but I think it's worth it.

So I got a Torq 209X Random Orbital Polisher, I used a variety of chemical guys products.

V36 - Cutting Polish (Used to fix areas that weren't in that good of shape)
    V38 - Final Polish
1 Coat: Black Light - Radiant Finish Color Enhancer (Hybrid Glaze and Sealant)
1 Coat: Black - Wax (Luminous Glow Enfusion) (1 coat)
1 Wipe Down: V7 - Hybrid High Gloss Spray Sealant and Quick Detailer

That's the basic run down of what I used. If you have any other questions let me know. ( I won't pretend that I am an expert at this, can only speak on what I've used and the outcome that I personally have gotten)

Added the hood decal. This will help with the glare, and gives it a bit more of an aggressive look.

It will make the biggest impact once you install a color coded grille surround and hood bulge. Looks good so far!

What size tires are those? They look huge.

Thank you, they are 285/75 18. It is just leveled with no rear lift, so they do fill the wheel well. I’ve not had any rubbing issues and I kinda like the look.

Decided that I will be ordering some Bilstein 5100's all around either Black Friday/Cyber Monday and some Cooper ST MAXX 295/70R18's in January to go with my Ray-10's and complete the lift/wheels/tires for my truck for now. Will see if I want to add shims, shackles, or UCA's later if needed. Fit should be good without mudflaps and maybe a fender liner push.

I went to Line-X San Jose and had the Line-X premium done on my bed. I chose to go over all bolts and hardware other than on the tailgate. This is my 3rd truck I have had Line-X premium done on over the last 5 years, but the first time going to the franchise in San Jose. These guys are more professional, friendly, and do better work than my previous experiences. I would highly recommend these guys to anyone in the bay area.

Installed the Avital alarm with two way remote plus added the directed SmartStart option. I like it so far and also like the app feature to start/lock/unlock. The SmartStart also alerts you when the truck is being tampered with.

$500. All I had to do was drop the truck off. They removed the wheels and tires, remounted and balanced everything

Thats not too bad, makes it easier that you didn't have to unmount and remount the tires.

Yeah thats why I went with them. They specialize in automotive parts so they have all the equipment to do everything on site. The other places I looked did not.
