@Backslider also is a finalist, because his is perfect for his environs. And, of course, @Jsena has it all going on.

Nice, that would never fly in Cali. I like this one posted by 1upper better though.
Also, how come this is in the 1st Gen section?

Crap, I thought the Snopes link had the story. From memory, the guy gets it in the mail from the DMV, didn't notice what the orange makes it say, slaps it on his car and starts getting honks everywhere he goes. I want to say people were stealing it and a Proctologist even offered to buy the plate off of him. Florida DMV finally figures it out and sends him a new plate number.

I'd have turned it into a belt buckle...

Good point, but I'd still wear it as a belt buckle... it's just too funny.

I've been toying around with TRDSOWT on my BDS/Fox Built up Platinum. But knowing how some people are here in Cali, I would come to my truck and find it keyed front to back!

In Colorado you have to explain the meaning so that would be perfect to write in that box

Back when gas was cheap my first big rig was a suburban on 37s with an 8 inch lift (yee haw, I know), anyways my license plate was
    3VI22AM
So when I pulled up behind you in your mirror it reads
    MASSIVE.
Young genius me was so proud.
